Evola

Postby albion » Tue Jul 19, 2005 12:15 am

Stop me if I'm veering way off-topic but I thought I'd post a few more links on Evola.

Quote:
There's a lot of speculation about Evola and his alleged involvement in a post-war international movement of "black fascism" centred in Italy. Whether there is anything to that, I don't know,

I've been reading about that, and I think there's something to it. What exactly, is hard to say. Evola was acquitted of inciting neofascist terrorism in 1951. There were rumors of magick. His direct involvement is questionable, but imo likely. His greater influence was as a sort of 'godfather' and ideological hero of the occultist far right. He died in 1974 but his memory lingers on. From a contemporary article about the 1980 "Gladio" bombing in Bologna:

Quote:
Although the precise structure of Third Position and the Armed Revolutionary Nuclei continues to elude everyone's grasp, two things are nonetheless clear: first, that they represent a radicalization, at the tactical level, of the political philosophy of the legal neofascist party, the Italian Social Movement (MSI); and, secondly, that this common political philosophy is still inspired by one of the most original and intellectually eccentric of fascist thinkers, the late Julius Evola (1898-1974).

[...]

To read Evola is to take a trip through a weird and fascinating jungle of ancient mythologies, pseudo-ethnology, and transcendental mysticism that is enough to make any southern California consciousness-tripper feel quite at home. And the amazing fact is that MSI deputies and Third Position militants take this mythical metaphysics utterly seriously as the basis for their political or terroristic actions. Without reading Evola you can no more understand why MSI Deputy Pino Rauti votes the way he does than you could comprehend Toni Negri's actions without knowing Karl Marx. Neither, without understanding Evola, could you understand the ideological tension within Eurofascism between the advocates of de Benoist's New Right and the followers of what is called Traditionalism.

[...]

Buttressing his "metaphysics" is a cyclical theory of history modeled on the Four Ages of Hindu mythology. Here we find the theoretical justification for violence, and perhaps terrorism, as a necessary means for destroying the modern and utterly decadent world (represented equally by America and Russia) which has sacrificed the Sacred to the material, the principle of Empire to that of democracy, the caste system to a social chaos where "men may go wherever they want," and spiritual racism to a pseudo-freedom of "the slave emancipated and the pariah glorified." In no other contemporary thinker of whom I'm aware is the rejection of history and the modern world so absolute and so virulent.

Italy: Terror on the Right
New York Review of Books
www.nybooks.com/articles/7178

William H. Kennedy's summary is typically muddled, but passable:

Quote:
Revolting Julius Evola and the Blood Axis Fascists

www.geocities.com/luclabl..._the_b.htm

As to the other speculation, Dave Emory has a summary of some of Kevin Coogan's hypotheses about Evola's WW2 and postwar activities in Dreamer of the Day: Francis Parker Yockey and the Postwar Fascist International:

Quote:
I believe that Evola’s Vienna project was intimately linked to the development of what I will call ‘the Order,’ a new kind of Knights Templar designed to successfully function sub-rosa. Well before the end of World War II, the intelligence and financial networks of the Third Reich were hard at work preparing underground networks to survive the coming Allied occupation. Escape lines to South America and the Middle East were organized. Bank accounts were created in Switzerland and other neutral nations to finance the underground with plunder the Nazis had looted from occupied Europe. But how was this secret empire to be managed, except by a virtually invisible ‘government in exile’?â€

Thanks, not off-topic at all. I'm going to check out your links as soon as I have the time. Evola appears to be a very important figure. I think Serrano is importantant well. Between P2 and Colonia Dignidad, an international elitist occulto-fascist network well represented in high places? Could it be? It certainly boggles the mind.

Evola

Postby albion » Tue Jul 19, 2005 1:30 am

Well ok, I guess you have to open it up pretty wide before you can narrow it down. Or maybe it really is that big.

A quote from Coogan: "Evola saw the beginning of a new return of the Kshastriyas (or what he also called 'the royal order of Melchizedek') with the emergence of a new order of 'Black Monks,' Himmler's SS."[p.308]

And a quote from Evola: The Grail "symbolizes the principle of an immortalizing and transcendent force connected to the primordial state and remaining present in the very period of ... involution or decadence ... The mystery of the Grail is the mystery of a warrior initiation."

which i am told is from this book:
www.amazon.com/exec/obido...s&n=507846

One hell of a rabbit hole. I need to drop bread crumbs to get out of it.

These quotes stuck with me.

Quote:
“I believe that Evola’s Vienna project was intimately linked to the development of what I will call ‘the Order,’ a new kind of Knights Templar designed to successfully function sub-rosa.

“This account of the origins of the Order is obviously speculative, and I advance it as hypothesis, not fact. Yet if I am correct the SD really did have a need for Evola’s unique talents. With his extensive knowledge of matters esoteric and occult; his fascination with secret societies and knightly Orders; his Waffen SS transnationalism; his ties to some of the highest figures in fascism, Nazism, and movements like the Iron guard; and his loyal service to the SD, Baron Evola was a perfect candidate to help theorize a new under ground Order. As the SD’s equivalent of Albert Pike, the former Confederate Army general who designed the rituals for the Scottish Rite Masons in the late 1800’s, Evola’s task was to help create the inner organizational and ritual structure for the Grand Masters of a secret Shamballah whose financial nerve center was carefully hidden away in Swiss bank accounts.” (Ibid.; p. 321.)

In1956, after President Eisenhower established the Killian Commission to investigate the Agency, it was discovered that more than half of the CIA’s personnel and 80 percent of its budget had been devoted not to intelligence-gathering but to psychological and political warfare programs.

“Any purely secular interpretation of the divisions in the far right between the ‘pro-Russian’ and the ‘pro-American’ factions of the Black International that avoids the ‘occult’ would conclude that political differences divided the two tendencies. An Order, however, is not structured along conventional political lines. Such an organization can dictate sharp turns and reversals in seemingly fixed political logics because the ‘political,’ crudely understood, is not the motivating force.” (Ibid. p. 360.)

Madsen is a reagan era spook, his word has weight?

Postby hmm » Tue Jul 19, 2005 4:03 pm

funny this as i was considering a thread on the madsen "experience" but have been too lazy to disect one of his "articles" as a example of what a psy-op could look like.
I have read quite a few of his pieces over the last year or so and nobody sets of my alarm bells like he does (excluding more obvious "nuts" ofcourse).
His articles are timely, meld a recent scandal with lesser known historical facts and impossible conjecture in a way which leaves the reader with a less clearer picture of the event than they had in the first place.
He "never" follows up on a story.
His is always the wrong article at the right time that gets passed around the net when a issue is really getting hot and you think that nothing can stop this from breaking through into the mainstream and exposing "them"
The amount of time i have seen wasted by intelligent honest people searching for truth among fiction because of something Madsen wrote could easily run into man-years.
To me a Madsen article has come to mean that "the machine" is scared and that the real story behind it will soon disappear.
I'm not ready to say Madsen is an operative yet,
i am saying i see synchronicity and it could merit further thought

emory has a LOT of good info and usually good insights. as with all this stuff, its take-it-or-leave it. if you're looking for zionists behind every plot, emory is not your man - he looks at nazis. the source of the speculation on evola is not emory but kevin coogan, who is a writer and researcher. his work is not quite as tight as, say, goodrick-clarke, but still pretty good. as for madsen, yeah he's in my 'maybe' file too.

Albion, I'm not looking for zionists behind every plot. In fact my post about Emory presented two sides of the story about Brussell with no conclusions.

that's fine sweejak, i was just giving my opinion of emory. i've been following him long enough not to be too concerned by whatever dustups he's had with other researchers.

Which is something I have wondered about, the intense, what is it... competition? among some researchers. I write it off to passion and the sizable ego's required for the job.
Well, I'm new to Emory but I've got him hooked up to the podcast thingy.

human is right

Postby Dreams End » Wed Jul 20, 2005 2:14 am

Human is right to be concerned about Madsen. He is "former" NSA under Reagan but now gets on all the progressive sites. Hmm...another ex-Reagan official writes for Ruppert, but we won't go there..

Anyway, I have suspicions of him too. I want to ask him what happened to the military coup that was to take place if the election was fixed.

Evola

Postby prunesquallori » Thu Jul 21, 2005 11:08 am

From what I understand of Traditionalist thought (Evola was one of the primary theorists) there is not necessarily a conflict between the Satanist/Nazi schools and Islam.

Traditionalists believe there is an esoteric and universal core in all authentic traditions; only the exoteric (zahir) surface differs. In both the "Western Tradition" (which is the origin of Masonry, the Grail legends, the Hyperborean legends, etc.) and certain Shiite schools, the esoteric interpretation is much "closer to the surface" than in, say, Christianity.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.
I am not aware of any chain of initiatic transmission between the medieval Islamic schools of tradition and Qutb, however. I was under the impression that bin Laden and co. were rather "modern" philosophically, if not politically.

Re: Islam and esoterism

Postby Qutb » Thu Jul 21, 2005 8:34 pm

Freiherr von Sebottendorf, who founded the Thule Gesellschaft which in turn created the German Nazi party a couple of years later, had been initiated into Freemasonry in Turkey and was into Islamic mysticism.

Hasan al-Bana, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, from which Islamic Jihad, Hamas, al-Qa'ida etc. has sprung, was an admirer of Hitler and an enthousiastic Nazi, according to John Loftus he even set up the Muslim Brotherhood from the start to be a secret Nazi army in the Muslim world at the insistance of German Nazis.

So the Nazi-Muslim connection did not begin with David Myatt. Which only depens my curiosity. Did someone influence Myatt in the direction of converting to Islam? How well connected is he? Are there international networks that connect Nazis and Islamists to this day? What about the third aspect of Myatt's persona, the Satanist? Are there connections between Satanists, Nazis and extreme Islamists beyond just their convergence in the enigmatic David Myatt? And what about his alleged involvement in Britain's Stay Behind network and his alleged connections to military intelligence and the right-wing of the Tory party?

For all I know, he could just be a nutball.
