It's amazing to watch trends in TV programming.

Three years ago I watched a History Channel broadcast documentary (I can't recall the title) about the USS Liberty that pretty much parodied the accounts of survivors from that day in June 1967, and bellied up to the concoction that Israel mistook the Liberty for a horse carrier. You know, the typical 'kiss Israel's ass' fare that generally plays on American TV.

Well I am amazed at what I just witnessed on American television programming. History International just broadcast Cover Up: Attack on the USS Liberty, which relied heavily on the testimony of surviving veterans of the Liberty, and told the story of incessant bombing by Israeli boats and planes on an unmistakably American ship. Some of the narrative was a bit shifty, but the script could've been copied and pasted from about any decent conspiracy site. It really was a remarkable thing to see, by no means a puff piece.

Anybody else catch it?
