bibi netanyahu, former Israeli PM, former israeli minister of treasury, present candidate to chair Likkud party - declares today, in a speech before the ISraeli Bar association that he was invited by De Bendetti, a rich industrialist, to serve as the Minsitry of treasury (finance) of ITALY !
And that he declined only because he feels committed to serve israel now in its crisis.

---

a lot of people will be happy seeing anywhere in the world just not here, me included.
There was a post in Jeff's blog about how maybe GW Bush is in fact a victim of childhood SRA, it ended "the question is not whether Bush knew, it is which part knew what ?" or something to that extent. I think it applies to Bibi as well...
this is tragic in a way, but people who are prime ministers, while under programming, should first be removed from office and then, we can extend compassoin to their situation.

--

I don't think he will stay in Israel eventually, too many people want him out of the place, for a long time. He has a lot of backing from his handlers, all kinds of dubious rich people (like Abramoff, till now), but this time they won't be able to pull it. He is considered here part of the "neo con" cabbal that has to go now. Also, he is holding a US citizenship, which he never gave up, even as PM. this is kinda weird, for a politician, and it signals who he is committed to, or that he is leaving a "back door" open, for retreat from Israel, not just politics.
