Recently the issue of Eichman's capture returned to the headlines here, following the 'political miracle" performed by Rafi Eitan. Rafi Eitan was supposedly among the Mossad staffers who found and snatched Eichman, from his Buenos Aires residence and brought him to Israel, to be tried and then executed. Later, he became one of the founders and seniors in LAkaM, a very secret unit, dealing with scientific espionage and nuclear stuff.
Lakam was officially dismanted after the "POllard flop" and Eitan was supposed to have been dismissed but he did that only "officially", and continued to serve high up on terror issues.
--
Years ago, I ran into a man who was my neighbor in hometown Rehovot. He was then a semi celeb, who was put in charge of the kidnap AND arrest conditions of Modechai Vanunu. Namely, he was the one who devised his tortured. The guy was bragging to me (while trying to get me to bed with him) and showed me a book, the official Issar HArel book about the Eichman affair, with a personal handwritten dedication to him (Mr. Sinai, that's his name), thanking him for assisting this operation. Namely, he, too , apparently was one of the Rafi Eitan staff (he is younger though so he might have done a minor job). SInai turned out to be quite a successful clone of Eichman's spirit, which made me think that its worth asking who kidnapped who, Aichman or the operatives ? Sinai was bragging about the tortures he is doing to Vanunu, among long stories of sexual conquests, namely, how he has sex with many young women, and how he is cheating on his very young concubine, a student of his wife (she was a high school math teacher). Namely, he seduced the students that his wife was tutoring and made one his concubine, still having many other liasons.
--
Later, he told me that he owns shares in two private mental health hospitals (I checked out and it was true), and was also alluding to bizarre things that happened there. In short, the man was mad, brutal, and Nazi.
00
Spiritually thinking, perhaps the operatoin to bring in Aichman, caused his "spirit" to kind of possess those who caught him. Namely, they all became devil worshippers like him.
--

Fascinating idea, and possible for several reasons. Say Sinai's motives were less than pure. Maybe Sinai lives an immoral life, but loves power over others; the thrill of the hunt and the glory of recognition for such a capture. Why wouldn't the demons feasting off old Eichman be attracted? What if Eichman is cursing Sinai also? I know of people who have done interviews with serious deranged criminals and felt strongly contaminated by the contact in a manner they couldn't shake off. One in particular a forensic psychiatrist. This makes sense to me; in any event I view life as somewhat of a battle for the soul. And certainly there are some jobs which cause great damage to the spirit, we've seen this in wars over and over. It is said that most times the "host" in this case Sinai, would offer some type of tacit assent to the powers of darkness. Or be so vulnerable due to etreme stress circumstances the resistance to evil might be low? Bragging of torture as part of a seduction ploy and being in cotrol of mental patients: not a good sign.

I don't have a clear sense of "spiritual entities", but I am sure that being in close contact with very evil people can have a bad effect. Looking back now, the Aichman trial had contaminating effects here, there was a "boom" in "stalag porn books" suddenly, it is as if the nazi archetype came along with Aichman and was released here. I feel that the same unwanted results happaned in the Nuremberg trials, where the "paperclip" deals started cooking. Whereas the red army was in favor of the usual military mass lynch executions drill, namely, no trial and massive executions of the seniors, the Americans started the notion of trials, which may have been wrong after all. Some "gut responses" are more appropriate when it comes to very evil people/situations. Because being in daily contact with those creatures "normalizes" the situation, and creates a seduction of power. It is corrupting the soul if you will, or just corrupting. Same goes, I think for Aichman and Israel, when Mossad found him in Argentina, they should have put a bullet through his head, why go through all this sham trial. I can also imagine that those officers who spent a year among Nazi exiles to try and locate the higherups, acquired some of their habits. It has to be this way, one cannot inflitrate and stay 'clean' for a long time.
Its kind of funny, cause a year after the trial, Hannah Arendt, a brilliant historian and intellectual (a german jew who escaped to the USA, and was sent to cover the trial for the NYT, I believe) wrote a very critical book about this operation and the trial. She thought it was mainly a display of Zionist chauvinism and tour de force, which played down the tragedy and missed the opportunity of making a universal case out of the holocaust rather than a particular enmity against Jews. --
But just seeing this man Sinai, and what he IS, serves as a proof that she was right. Looking at him, it appears that Aichman won...his values have had the upper hand. I believe same goes for Rafi Eitan, although i only read about him, and did not see him in person. (thank GOd...)
