Organization also slams 'apartheid wall' <br>Ynetnews <br><br> <br><br>The Ontario division of Canada's largest union has voted to support an international campaign that is boycotting Israel over its treatment of Palestinians, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reported on its website this weekend. <br><br> <br><br>The decision to join the campaign, until Israel recognize the Palestinians' right to self-determination, was supported by an overwhelming majority of the delegates to the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) at the Ontario convention in Ottawa this Saturday. I am sure it was the "spin" with the National Post...that made people understand that if there is a vacuum of public opinion/activity, someone else will USE it. So now, when the gov is in the hands of the bushco, the canadians remember they can do something other than bitch and connive against the innocent. <br><br>All in all, with the Brittish boycot today, and this, not a bad day. Let's hope its the first step in more commitment to bring peace here, in HONEST and courageous - widespread, and pupular, civil protest against the israeli oppression, backed by the USA.<br><br><br><br><br> <p></p><i></i>
