Starin at the sun....

A while back now, I read a link posted I think by Hmmm, about an Indian man who claimed to be going onto a strictly Solar diet.

Having just returned from a mini sungaze myself, I decided to have a look for any developments on this endeavour.

I came across this ;

www.rawpaleodiet.org/sungazing/shah-hypoth-411fast2.html

Truth or untruth ?

Quote:
Truth or untruth ?

Don't know, though fraud would be par for the course. Just like those stigmatics who self injure when no one is looking. Or maybe these people above have a "special" understanding of it means to "fast". Like the breathairians who didn't seem to think that having a big mac was really breaking the rules. People are able to convince themselves of just about anything if they are emotionally invested in it enough.

But I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand either.

The premise is relatively simple.

Postby slimmouse » Tue Jul 25, 2006 9:22 pm

I should say 4911 and BV that at this point I'm still agnostic on all of this.

But the premise is relatively simple.

Light is energy. Food is energy.

I just wish I could find the original article. It goes on to explain the science behind how the body can absorb sunlight and recieve all the neccesary nutrients.

The majority of Trees and plants spring to mind. They survive on little more than a diet of water and sunlight ( a few bits of soil of course)

The important point however is that whether it be pork chops, potatoes, or sunlight - all of the above are nothing more than the same - that is to say they are all just "energy".

Question ;

What is the 'purest' form of energy known to mankind ?

Sure, if we had the ability to perform photosynthesis sun, air and water would be about all we would need. But we can't. I'm not sure I'd like being green either. I'd much rather be blue.

I just wonder sometimes......

Postby slimmouse » Tue Jul 25, 2006 9:45 pm
I just wonder sometimes about how the "heat" seems to affect our appetite so much.

At least its described by "Science" as being due to heat.

But of course theres usually a damn big Yellow thing up there, shining down on us when its hot. And even if its cloudy, the heat is mostly still a by product of the Sun

Whats more I cant ever remember coming out of a Sauna session without feeling like I could eat a horse shortly afterwards.

And finally you can all rest assured that I'll be tucking into eggs for breakfast tommorrow

Edited by: slimmouse at: 7/25/06 7:51 pm
