Mine started when I was about four. Wow! They were really thrilling in the beginning, and I hated being woken up in the middle of one, kind of like being interrupted in the middle of watching a great movie. But a couple of years later, they got more complicated, like I had to watch out about getting tangled in telephone lines. Then they weren't so much fun as in the beginning. I had the flying dreams up into adulthood, but then they petered out. In later years, there was a sense of always looking for something, of seeking. But the early ones would compare to simply the rush of first learning how to ride a bike, the accomplishment of learning a new skill, only even more thrilling. I seem to remember this great surprise in the beginning, like a baby bird must feel. I knew from the first, though, that some force would grab me and cause me to crash if I flew below a certain level. At four, I didn't have the word "gravity" in my vocabulary, but that was kind of what it was.

Edited by: chiggerbit at: 10/30/05 5:22 pm

Regarding the "gravity" of my dreams, it was like there was a ceiling to its power, and so long as I stayed above that ceiling, the sky was the limit. (Sorry, couldn't help it.) In a way, that is what you are talking about, slim, learning how to stay above that ceiling, not being held down by it.

Quote:
For instance, I recommend starting up your motorcar and driving wherever you want, without the need to put fuel in the tank.

Now now Robert. We all know we need gasoline to fuel our cars. Because "official science" tells us that, and strangely enough "official science" actually kills anyone who dares prove them wrong. Youll just have to trust me on that one. Lest you wish to do a search on the magic lantern for the energy body count.

But I wouldnt look for "official proof" of that from the "official media". I mean, who in their right and official mind would ?

But probably more importantly, who in their "officially sane" mind would argue against that ?

You dont get huge scientific grants by refuting "official science" , no matter how good the science actually is. Never mind that Science is actually irrelevant. As is "official sanity", unless of course, those who always have had the money are making more money by citing the "officially sane" .

Everyone else is "insane" or dead. Strange how that works huh ?
