For whatever reason, this image absolutely works for me. Hitler looks tired and ill, like some evil Diogenes driven onward despite himself. I'd not wish that lamp to shine upon me. I'm going to have nightmares about this.

Immediately made me think of Annie Jacobsen's AREA-51 book.

It's certainly an intriguing cover, Sepka.
It makes me wonder about the story inside. I guess that's the idea, to make me want to pick it up off the shelf!
Hitler does look tired and ill. That sorrow in his eyes, and the tiredness showing in his body, makes me think he is repentant. I suppose even Hitler might have repented.
Perhaps he found enlightenment with the friendly space brothers.
Oh! Except the aliens come armed, and the way they are waving those guns around makes me nervous.
Never mind. I guess I'm talking rubbish.
Except I know that Beyond the Darkness of night always comes the dawn.
So don't have nightmares, Sepka. No-one needs to have nightmares, silly fantasies that make us anxious.
I'd rather we all had sweet dreams!

The aliens must have resurrected ol' Dolph after he was burned alive by the Human Torch.

Look at that landscape, too. The scorched dusk nightmare light of what were once strawberry fields.

From the art style that's 70s or 80s, not the original Human Torch of the 30s, and the belabored Marvel-ous exposition in the dialogue leaves little doubt. Can you confirm an issue number, Mr. Fish?

It's the Human Torch and Toro from a retcon,
What If? #4, from August 1977. See
here.

Hey, "What If?" I loved that one.
It's funny they thought they had such an immutable canon established that they would need that title.
Now they do alternate versions and reboots and new No. 1s every month, and relaunch the whole universe every other year, and if you want to kill Spiderman, no problem: he'll be back.

I posted the Black Magic cover on Flatwoods Blonde and it got a ton of traction.
