Good luck convincing me. I actually think there's something to the core of his theories, but he definitely got sidetracked.
"A crooked stick will cast a crooked shadow."

Re: My problem with Hoagland

Postby jingofever » Mon Apr 03, 2006 7:04 pm

When I took classes in the sciences I had to write up lab reports after doing experiments. That involved explaining why results didn't confirm my predictions. Most often I would cite human error (i.e. I measured something wrong) or I could have just not had the theory correct. What I couldn't do is allege a massive conspiracy that was undermining my research. I would fail for trying to pull that crap and with good reason. Hoagland thinks he can get away with it.

Slimmouse, if Hoagland is right, it doesn't mean that Christianity(for instance) isn't true.IMO,it will only prove it more to be true than before.Only one must understand the scriptures well in order to grasp "the new data".
No telling about it that New age will use this data to convince many in the space brothers theory and Vatican trying to baptise the "aliens"(if they show up sometime).
Every one will have their own agenda, because the world is wicked to the bone

Have you ever considered the possibility that you don't know everything?
"A crooked stick will cast a crooked shadow."
