Coming out as what?

But anyway... Maybe. One of the few good things about urban sprawl and catastrophic climate change is that I've seen more wildlife in the past five years than in my whole life before that. I'm well aware that the wildlife probably isn't quite as wild about seeing me, of course.

Yathrib I don't think habitat destruction is a good thing.

You might see more wildlife, but will your kids?

There was actually a similar thing with Yowies south of brisbane about 20 years ago. they probably retreated into the Border Ranges, as thats where most people I know have recorded sightings.

There are a couple of valleys I wanna go sus out one day, a mate told me. He's Bundjalung mob, and reckons there are 2 species, red and black. The red ones are a bit out of their range to the north, but the black ones are carniverous.

the red ones seem to fit a bit more with the bigfoot meme. Stench, peering in windows, semi mystical properties etc. the black ones just seem crypto and dangerous.

Joe, you write:

"Yathrib I don't think habitat destruction is a good thing."

I agree. I do like seeing the wildlife, but I'm well aware it is part of a very serious and tragic phenomenon. Was being ironic, but probably not a good topic for levity at all.
