Having read the first seven pages of his "Taroscopes Tour" all I have to say is wow! This guy gives Jeff a serious run for his money. Brilliant writing.

But that's your choice. Life is a series of choices, your abuser is suffering from the choices he made. There is no reason for you to suffer from his choices also. You are free to make your own, different and new choices, or not. It's up to you.

Quote:
In ordinary life, which has become extraordinarily complex, we make mistakes and take wrong turning which waste large amounts of time, energy and money and which cause great frustration. Just look at the complexes and vices which arise from human uncertainty and ignorance. we make a wrong move that causes ourselves and others enormous hardship. from these there arises other pernicious quandaries which beset us - guilt, self-recrimination, hostility, frustration and regret, etc,. Or, because we think we are right we contravene the space or boundaries of another person who then becomes an enemy instead of a friend. Is this not the familiar pattern of life?

We are prevented from reaching our own goals and excellence when we make these kinds of detours. Since we constantly make decisions which are so important for our lives and for our responsibilities towards others, it becomes essential to get proper guidance. That guidance ultimately comes from ourselves and not from others. Our words are no meant to spur you to give yet more power away to others. They are meant to return you to psychic sovereignty, to the oracle within that has all the answers.

Sounds like non "yuck" to me, that's what I take from it. The advice on it's face seems good to me.

Take what you need and leave the rest.

I personally wouldn't pay the 550 bucks he wants to join the college or the 200 for a personal reading.

Anyway, you are allowed to ask, to be kooky and have an unmade mind. Everything is permitted. The only thing none of us can escape is our freedom. We are free to whatever we want and that seems to be pretty much how things go in this world. It has always been like this and it is unlikely to change to please us. What we cannot do is to escape the consequences of our choices.

I was mugged once. The guy came up behind me, smashed my face into the pavement and stole my purse. He got away and I never got my money back. What did I do? After I got my stitches I went back and looked in all the dumpsters and found my purse and more importantly, my ID and other personal imformation and got on with my life.

Who was the victim here? Not me. He was. The moment he attacked me he killed off a part of himself and I doubt that he has recovered from that even today. He was probably looking for a little cash to feed his addiction, most likely crack. He, not me, has suffered the most from his choices. If he is even still alive.

About the Tarot:
I am pretty skeptical by nature but the tarot readings I've had have all been dead on. In fact, some have been quite spooky in how accurate they were. I am still skeptical, but I weight the Tarot a little better than just the random guesswork a lot of psychic activity is.

MTSAR - the michael tsarion weblog

a recent entry:

Quote:

The Pluto Alignment 2006
(What to Watch For)

We are now approaching the half-way point in the Maya “Age of Revealing” which began in 1999. December 21 1999 began the final 13 year countdown to the zero-year of 2012. The half-way point is 2007, so we can expect some major changes on all levels of our being during and after that time. I had a look at his site but really for some reason didn't bother ggoing too deep.

The tarot is V fucking weird tho. I dunno, I have only had a few reading but they were pretty wild.

I had one where it was basically 8 trumps in a 10 card reading.

That blew the reader away. not me cos I didn't have a clue what he was talking about... a bit ignorant of tarot then.

But looking back on that time in my life and what that reading was actually saying about the forces at play, it was spot on.

The chaos and insanity in my life have certainly mellowed since then, but that is sort of because of that reading. it was able to give me a framework to deal with stuff I was unable to put my finger on. I had a complete reading from a pretty well know tarot guy and it seemed he couldn't make a decision without consulting the cards.

It hung him up.

I just finished the Earthsea trilolgy Urusla K. Tsarion appears to be a huckster to me. He's on board for the painfully bad Horizon Project DVDs, along with a creationist/hollow earth "pHD" and RV teacher Ed Dames. Their basic thesis centers around the "Killshot", a solar flare which will wipe out most life on Earth.

He's also updated from "Taroscopes" to his exciting new "Timegnosis" system. They offer free readings and months later I still haven't gotten mine.
