Eh... I read one collection, due to Lovecraft's massive meme status... wasn't that impressed. I could get into some of the stories, especially the longer ones... but I often had trouble suspending disbelief. <br><br>And every time he tried to describe something horrible, it was <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>unspeakable</em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> or <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>unknowable</em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->. I wish he would have told us something about it. The best stories were the ones where he did. Showing nothing is as bad as showing everything - both are equally meaningless. <p></p><i></i>
