Would that be the same one that's been published under the title H. P. Lovecraft: Against the World, Against Life?

Eh... I read one collection, due to Lovecraft's massive meme status... wasn't that impressed. I could get into some of the stories, especially the longer ones... but I often had trouble suspending disbelief.

And every time he tried to describe something horrible, it was unspeakable or unknowable. I wish he would have told us something about it. The best stories were the ones where he did. Showing nothing is as bad as showing everything - both are equally meaningless.
