This is an excellent list serve which is worth checking into. It is a very open list and gets many varied opinions, but the following says it all: OK, folks its time to get down, time to take on the Bush regime. Why? Because they're after our democracy. When push comes to shove, you have to push to keep your democracy, otherwise you will be shoved into a corner and told you cannot have it anymore. For years, the Bush-Nazis have been spying on us. They have been spying on me, they have been spying on you. The Republican party is no longer the party of Lincoln. Lincoln founded a new party and waged war on slavery in order to preserve "government of the people, by the people, and for the people". Bush and his Project For A New American Century (PNAC) cronies wage war against their own people, and against the rest of the Earth, for the domination of white people. Lincoln was the grandchild of a Quaker woman and understood Quakerism ... he was visited more often in the White House by Quakers than by religious people of any other denomination. Bush spies on Quakers, regarding us as enemies of his regime and of our country. Bush schemes to put people of color and non-Anglophone people in their place, the horrid and squalid place that stood out most blatantly during Hurricane Katrina. We Quakers are no one's enemies. I have corresponded extensively with Bush's own brother Jeb on the topic of Restorative Justice, which Jeb believes in. I have even written to this President offering to put together a Restorative Justice Prayer Breakfast for his White House. No reply. I have great differences with this President, yet I have even complimented him on his courage for visiting prisoners in prisons during the course of his political campaigns -- something that most politicians wouldn't do. No reply. Why do I call them Bush-Nazis? Because they are the practical heirs of German Naziism. Why? Because George Walker Bush's own grandfather, Prescott Bush, helped fund the Nazis' rise to power in Germany -- right into the time of World War II -- 1942 to be exact -- when he was busted under the Trading With The Enemy Act, a law passed in the US Congress in 1917. As Michael Moore so rightly pointed out in his documentary film 'Fahrenheit 9/11', even in 2001, the Bush family was 'in bed' financially with the Bin Laden family, in the lucrative investment house known as the Carlyle Group. Was Prescott Bush put in prison for trading with the German Nazi enemy? No. Why? Because the investors, who put many billions of dollars into the German war machine and even profited directly off concentration camp slave labor, included some of President Roosevelt's best friends. People in the big banking cartels who actually issue the dollar and control western finances. Firms like Brown Brothers Harriman, still one of the largest and most profitable private banks in the world. People like the Harriman and Rockefeller families, and many more 'illustrious' US, British, and other family names. Instead, Prescott Bush was given another job -- running the War Fund, and shaking down the country's rich families -- the ones that had been profiting off the greatest of miseries -- and getting them to make huge contributions for war relief. Restorative Justice in a very big way indeed. What most people still don't know is that the German Nazis were funded -- their rise to power was backed -- by US, British, and other funds, some of which were funneled into Hitler's party beginning in the early 1920's. Essentially, the Nazi brown-shirts were 'hired' as union-busters by German industry, by the big steel conglomerates especially. Fritz and August Thyssen were the leaders of the main firm funneling money to the Nazis. They were later joined by Friedrich Flick, and after the war they merged with the Krupp steel firm, Germany's largest. Today, Thyssen-Krupp is Germany's largest industrial conglomerate, and their name can be found on a huge number of products, including the elevator in our downtown parking garage in Brattleboro, Vermont. And Brown Brothers Harriman, which provided the Union Banking Corporation (UBC) cover for Bush and the Harriman brothers funneling investments of the Nazis, the one that was busted in 1942 for Trading With The Enemy, today remains one of the world's largest private banks. And when the last Thyssen, the majority shareholder still running the UBC after the war, died in the early 50s, Prescott Bush cashed out his seven figure 'winnings', his and his father's shares in UBC, and funded his first run for the Senate. He made it on the second try, beginning the Bush political dynasty. One of their 'pet politicians' from the time of the late 1940s, running on an anti-communist line and helping push the McCarthyite attack upon democracy, was Richard Nixon. The Republican Party is no longer the party of Lincoln. They stopped representing "government of the people, by the people, and for the people" quite some time ago. Today, they may not be Nazis, but they are what I call PNACzis, and their scheme is very much like that of the Nazis of old. They tell us Big Lies, knowing that many of us will believe them. They tell us we are being attacked, and try to marginalize those of us who are pacifists as 'endangering the country'. Today, when the Bush Regime has been exposed for secretly spying on us, secretly torturing people in secret prisons in many overseas countries, they try to paint the people who have blown the whistle on these practices as traitors. They try to make villains out of the true heroes of democracy. This is serious business, folks. In 1996, after helping organize Restorative Justice programs in Vermont that won national awards, I was Secretary of a United Nations Working Party on Restorative Justice. My security clearance at the UN was revoked after I witnessed, and challenged, a good-ol-boy conversation about what crony was going to get a huge, lucrative contract to build a 3600-unit prison in Kuwait. I would still like to know where that prison is, who built it, and whether it is one of the 'secret prisons' where the USA's Bush regime sequesters those it considers its enemies. Kuwait, you will recall, is the country used as a staging area for both of the US invasions of Iraq. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld recently acknowledged that he 'ghosted' (secretly arrested and held for months) certain persons. These prisons, these 'secret CIA prisons' that the USA is running overseas, they are holding today's 'disappeared ones'. You remember the 'disappeared ones', the 'disaparecido' of South America. How many of them were pushed out of airplanes over the open, shark-infested ocean? Many. How many lie in unmarked graves, or are dust, scattered to the four winds? Very many. How long will it be before you and I get 'disappeared'? Three years ago, the Bush regime used the US diplomatic corps, specifically the UN Embassy in Yemen, to track several people, including a US citizen, who were considered enemies of the Bush regime and alleged to be in cahoots with al-Qaeda (whatever that is). Did they arrest them and charge them? No. Did they seize them and 'ghost' them into a secret prison somewhere? No. Instead, they launched a Predator drone aircraft and 'took out' an SUV crossing the Yemeni desert, four men including a US citizen, with one Hellfire missile. What kind of justice is this? The kind for which G-d once flooded the Earth, warning us when dry land rose again out of the waters that we must found systems of true justice; ones no longer based upon revenge. The 'fire next time' is just around the corner. Or maybe it's been here now already for quite awhile. Who are the ones who will help us stay safe, when our own governments wage war against us in secret? There is a reason why the people are now rising up against the secret spying and the secret prisons and the secret torturing ... it is because they know that this is not democracy, that we have lost our Republic when the US government can engage in these activities with impunity. Many of us realize that the reason the Bush regime backed out ot the Rome Treaty, establishing the International Criminal Court, was not to protect US 'peacekeepers' from 'frivolous prosecution', but rather to protect the high muck-a-mucks from their eventual prosecution ... as war criminals. Is George Walker Bush a war criminal? Is Richard Cheney a war criminal? Is Tony Blair? Is Donald Rumsfeld? Wolfowitz, Perle, and Feith ... are they war criminals? Is the Project for a New American Century a criminal conspiracy? They are, after all, calling for exploring biological weaponry -- genotype-targetable microbes -- as a "useful political tool". They are, after all, calling for the "full-spectrum dominance" of the US military, industrial, and economic machinery -- not to mention our global prison-industrial complex -- over the rest of the world. They are, after all, pursuing secret policies of repression and violence against those they perceive as their political enemies. They do, after all, seek to preserve the petrodollar hegemony as an effective tool of control over the world's strategic resources. If this is still a democracy, if this is still the Republic that we love, then they deserve a fair trial. If brother John Wilmerding, is a true Quaker, then he believes in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. Do you believe as he does, or do you merely quote his post to show us stuff about Bushes and Nazis that we already knew? Just askin', mind you, just askin', not that I disagree in any way with what brother John had to say. But WHAT do you believe, brother Seventhson??? I tend to go with the tale of the ol' dog whut got his tail cut off 'n' sed "It won't be long now!". 'Course I know that the dog just took care o' business 'n' went to a Retail strore. (Yuk-Yuk!!)

I believe that the Trinity is an exceptionally well put way of explaining the universe and all creation. I believe in a Holy Spirit, aka the Comforter, Truth, Love, Divine Love, Mary as Intervenor and Goddess in her own right and way. I believe in the Elohim, i.e. the Plural or multiplistic nature of the divine (which fits into the three-fold concept of the divine) I believe in the Divine origin of all that is. I believe in the writings of Dr. Ernest Sternglass with respect to the "Big Bang" and that the physical laws which gave rise to it were, according to the odds, INTENDED (by a Divine intelligence).[i.e. - the phsyical principles - laws of physics - which gave rise to the big bang, existence and consiousness as we know it were so astronomically unlikely to have occurred by accident - something like ten trillion trillion to one - that consciousness and existence and the universe as we know it - or the events which Created it - were put into effect by a superintelligence which brought us into being. I believe that faith is important - but without works is not enough. I believe that it is important to believe in the beneficent intent of the Creator, and that without this belief, we tend to lose faith in truth and goodness and love and hope. I believe that men (and women, but mostly men at this point because they are in power in a patriarchal world order) are prone to fall prey to inferior instincts which are destructive and dangerous to their tribes, their planet and to humanity - and that this has manifested in a most inhumane and heinous way in the phenomena of the socalled Bush-Nazis and their mammon-licking, moloch worshipping, necrophilic fascism which has held sway and mortal danger over humanity for the past century or so in this new technical age. I believe there are divine entities which guide and help us if we are deserving of it and if we ask nicely. I believe in the laws of karma ("as you sow, so shall you reap" AND "unto the third and fourth generations" will our sins be visited upon our progeny - and at this point many many more generations with the nuclear age of half lives of dangerous polluting/toxic radionucleides for 10,000 generations or more). I believe in hope. I believe that the Comforter is Truth and... That even if we must suffer immensely, that holding onto that garment, that cloak, that covering and blanket and hem of Truth, our souls may have immortality. I tend to believe that the souls of evil beings will be annihilated for eternity --- and that this applies to the current regime. God , or the Elohim, or the Goddess, Sophia, however he/she should be called, will punish the guilty and honor the righteous. Forever. So I believe I should try to keep love in my heart, forgiveness in my soul, and hope and faith in my spirit. Also, for the record, I tend to believe that the Bible and the New Testament are man made artifacts which hold much truth, much wisdom, and much untruth and even evil. But life is a learning process which I hope brings us to unity with our divine Creator(s). In one lifetime or many. Thus , because life is hard , I tend to believe in reincarnation, being born again and again and again till we get it right ---- and that thus this life is not our one and only shot at being among the righteous. Only if we sell our souls to death, mammon, and greed and the ultimate lying and havoc of betraying our divine creator, is their a world without hope. I believe that organizations and instruments of evil like the Nazis and fascists and Skull and Bones --- and even their more benign seeming instruments, like the ivy league schools, and prep schools, and the Bilderbergers or Illuminati, or 40 committee or the PNAC or the NSA, etc. -- I believe that these teach ultimately that mammon, moloch, surfeit and greed --- especially of life and material possession --- that these are the root of all evil and promote it as the destroyers of love and truth and faith. They have their role as the great deceivers and the Temptors and the advocates for annihilation and nihilism --- but they are too an illusion. And only those souls who embrace the evil are lost, and the ones who embrace righteousness are saved. I believe a lot of things right now. Glad you asked. Thanks Mary K! That was a late night new years day champagne inspired set of beliefs ---- but in rereading them I think of two things: Jesus drank wine and encouraged it as "his blood" and a symbol of the new covenant. Hemingway said that two or three drinks before writing is pretty much essential at times. This is not an exact quote, but it is close. Speaking of Hemingway, my readings on him indicate his death may have been a cointelpro type blackop due to his anti McCarthy and antifascist writings and sentiments. Anyone else heard anything like that?

In 1961, Ernest Hemingway unsuccessfully attempted suicide, and then was given electro-convulsive therapy (commonly known as "shock treatment.") This caused him to lose his memory, he said, and his next attempt (a shotgun to the head) was successful. There may well have been something black-op going on there, and the use of the mental-health industry is a favorite way of disenfrachising a person of interest. --MaryK

But a from-the-heart stream of consciousness response, loosened by a little new year cheer. My role on the internet has been for some years to try to expose the intergenerational nature of what I currently call the "Fourth Reich". This is not a unique name; Hunter Thompson called it the same thing. It is based on the fact that WASPy ivy leaguers who backed Hitler financially and politically in his efforts at an Anglo-American-German 2000 year Reich were never exposed and called to account for thier part in the Holocaust, crimes against humanity, genocide and war crimes. My own exposure to these facts came about because my father was a low level intelligence operative during WWII and before --- and was a nazi "profiler" and "intel analyst" of sorts working for the US government. He learned of the connections between Wall Street and Hitler --- and when he tried to expose them his career was ruined and his life and my family's lives were threatened. My father also had close ties with the AntiNazi underground in Europe and the antifascist networks in Latin America (including the Jewish underground in Europe). My father taught me much about his political philosophy and his spiritual philosophy (he was an Anthroposophist, essentially a Christian-Buddhist). He came from the same WASP background as the elites backing Hitler and he knew many of them. (Ivy League, elite WASP prep schools, Harvard Law, etc.). I was born quite a while after WWII and came of age in the 1960's - opposing the draft and the war and becoming involved in political activities, community action and journalism. In college I began to study the methodologies of fascism and the power elites. This gave rise to research on my father's past and his stories as well as research into the intergenerational networks of fascism. The current crop of American Nazis in power are the children and grandchildren of the same elites which backed Hitler. 9-11 was exactly the same modus operandi and the same principals (except one or two generations removed) as the Reichstag Fire. JFK, MLK, RFK and Malcolm X (to name just a few) were the victims of the same Nazi efforts begun in the 1920's by the Rockefellers, Bushes, Walkers, Harrimans, Dulleses, Morgans, Fords, etc. All of this is what is described by Hitler's (antiNazi) biographer Konrad Heiden as the anglo-american-nordic alliance for a two thousand year Reich of the "superior race" (using any and all other "subhumans" in whatever way necessary to effectuate their goals of global hegemony in a brutal fascist dictatorship masked under a pseudo-democratic cloak. Since the assassination of JFK these people have been in control absolutely. Halliburton (Brown and Root) were LBJ's "sponsors and controllers" and spurred him to escalate the Vietnam War (reversing JFK's orders to reduce the number of troops and begin the deescalation of the American presence there. Cuba (which was a huge money laundering operation for the elites in gambling, drugs, prostitution etc.) reemerged as a target. The oil companies were given free reign to fully exploit their monopolies. And the nuke companies were elevated to fat cash cows for the same elites --- the banks, construction companies etc., like the oil companies, who needed the escalation of the cold war (while profitting from their own backroom deals with Stalin and other Soviets) to sell their resources and suck up more tax revenue from the masses here and there. Nixon, Kissinger, Ford, Carter, Kissinger, (Nelson) Rockefeller, Brzezinski, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Reagan and even Clinton (not to mention Kerry) have all been willing collaborators with the fascist elites running the efforts for the 2000 year Fourth Reich. I happen to believe that Gore was/is a man of conscience and was not a willing collaborator, but a somewhat naive and unwilling dupe for them. When one looks at the historical and intergenerational efforts of the elite networks of the elites (which are predominated by WASP elites carrying on a global effort of socalled eugenics and population reduction for control purposes) one sees that the chain of events follows a very clear and undeniable pattern and modus operandi based on a purely fascist, materialist and, to be crass but allegorical, a mammon-worshipping cult of death.
