As usual, there's still a large hunk of the population that just refuses to see things any other way than the way they see them...just got this mass email in my work in-box today: ========================================== Subject: Texan Air Traffic Control Dallas ATC: "Tower to Saudi Air 911--You are cleared to land eastbound on runway 9R." Saudi Air: "Thank you Dallas ATC. Acknowledge cleared to land on infidel's runway 9R -Allah be Praised !!" Dallas ATC: "Tower to Iran Air 711--You are cleared to land westbound on runway 9R." Iran Air: "Thank you Dallas ATC. We are cleared to land on infidel's runway 9R. -Allah is Great !!" Pause: Static............. Saudi Air: "DALLAS ATC! DALLAS ATC!!!" Dallas ATC: "Go ahead Saudi Air 911." Saudi Air: "YOU HAVE CLEARED BOTH OUR AIRCRAFT FOR THE SAME RUNWAY GOING IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS. WE ARE ON A COLLISION COURSE! INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE." Dallas ATC: "Well bless your hearts. Y'all be careful now and tell Allah "hey" for us -- ya hear?" ========================================== in other words, "KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL FOR BUSH! KILL FOR TEXAS! KILL FOR HONOR! KILL ALL ARABS, EVERYWHERE!!!! KILL! KILL! KILL! NOW LAUGH ABOUT THE KILLING!! KILL! KILL! KILL!" IMO, a perfect analogy for rabid pro-bush fuck-wads. "We're so terrified of what our government is telling us, we just want to kill EVERYONE from EVERYWHERE in the middle east...as many at a time as possible." Even NOW after everything that has come out about the administration, there's a portion of the population that still regards the entire middle east as "Tha Enemeyies". it's amusing in a "I can't believe this bullshit" kind of way because it's kind of like a moron sitting next to you on a bus, winking at you and chummily nudging you with his elbow after he just told a racist joke....sort of saying, "hahahahahaa...funny huh? get it? get it? get it? get it? get it? get it? funny because, you know...they're all filthy terrorists and they DID try to destroy America, if you remember...and they DO worship a false god and they ARE liars, cheats, and rapists....and they DO treat women and fags like shit...well, waitasecond, now I don't personally disagree with them on those two....HAHAHAHAHAAA...isn't that funny? ME agreeing with THEM on something...but anyway...we should make jokes to lighten the mood...don't take it too seriously...but DO take it a little seriously...I'm laughing...are you? huh? are you? are you? are you? are you?" ...and on it goes. the bush-bots have become that annoying asshole that everyone just tries to avoid at all costs. the only difference is, they're not harmless...they're actually vicious psychopathic whack-jobs that would sooner have nuclear war overseas, and civil war and open fighting in the streets here in America than see "the nation's beauty and power shat upon by you lousy liberals." by admitting they were wrong.

Consider that this email be a Rendon Group or Lincoln Group project meant to be an accessory to the Moussaoi trial, release of flight 93 'transcripts,' and the movie about flight 93. The marketing of mind viruses uses every medium possible. I saw in a SF Bay area paper two days ago that the widower of one of the victims on flight 93 saw the movie and highly approved of it. Front page item. A friend sent me an email that purported to be forwarded by a military wife and consisted of a list of horrible abuses of Gitmo prisoners with each one followed by "Well, I just don't care." Rendon Group material, I'll betcha.

The day of 9/11 I was on an email group with over 200 bigwigs of all walks of life. Looking back, you could tell the thinkers (in general, progressives and liberatarians) from the fuckwads (in general, Republicans) from the messages written that day. By the time the second tower had collapsed, about 10 fuckwads had already posted stuff like: "Nail Bin Laden to a tree by his balls." & "Clinton should have taken that bastard Bin Laden out when he had the chance." & "I guess the time has finally come to massively kick some Muslim ass!" & "I don't care who we bomb but we better start dropping them tomorrow!" Meanwhile, the thinkers were worrying about the victims and what could be done to help them and minimize the horrible scope of that day's tragedies.

We have recently moved far away from the land of bush-cheny, bush-to-the second-power, power-of-pride bumperstickers simply everywhere all the time... No place is perfect, but it is so palpable, the sense of relief from the sanctimonious warmongers. They won't miss us, and vice versa.

mother- I'm seeing fewer and fewer of them every day...and interestingly enough, the ones that I DO see are on cars driven by people that either look completely self-conscious or completely deranged.
