hmm..this is not good. i mean this is a sign of the times. who in the world would imagine we'd live in a world where one day they actually talk about it on FOX news in such a direct fashion.

there is an obvious reason why they'd mention this. you have to take note of how the anchor said it. he didnt even mention alex's name until after he took an incredibly deliberate clearing of his throat with a time consuming "pardon me" half way through the soundbite allowing those disgusted enough to turn the channel at the apt time.

it also appears they did the sound bite after a small story about Iran and weapons, probably dealing with either claims that Iran gave weapons to hezbollah or dealing with nukes.

having laid the setup about the 'reality' of the world they plug in a 'conspiracy alert' to show you the 'crazies' point of view. which as FOX just told us, Iran really does have weapons..well why, oh why would the incompetant (fnord!) US government go about nuking itself??

but it is interesting they made sure the term 'neo-fascist bloodsuckers' made its way into the sound blurb...we we're recently discussing in another thread here about alex jone's choice of wording...haha... yeah that'll turn mr and mrs ignorant joe citizen to embrace everything alex jones has to say...

but another point i want to make is.. i wonder if this isn't some kind of set up....that there will be a story or an incident, just for the record i don't advocate violence ever, about how there was some extremist truthseeker that wants to go and decide to prove a point about how the government was behind 9/11.

and then they'll blame it on islam! (haha rage against the machine song reference)..er i mean conspiracy nuts and drag any and all credibility we have down and away from us like they used timothy mcveigh to destroy extreme nationalists.

double edged sword..we are in end game mode...they'll do whatever it takes.

party like its 1999!

___________________________________________
"BUSHCO aren't incompetent...they are COMPLICIT." -Me

"Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it's enemy action." - Ian Fleming

"Speaking the Truth in times of universal deceit is a revolutionary act" -George Orwell
Edited by: dugoboy at: 8/15/06 8:47 pm

How big would Jones get if and when it does happen?

Faction 1 and 2 laughing all the way to the bank.

One day I am gonna learn how to transend all duality....MU.

A Soldier's Declaration

I am making this statement as an act of wilful defiance of military authority, because I believe the war is being deliberately prolonged by those who have the power to end it.

I am a soldier, convinced that I am acting on behalf of soldiers. I believe that this war, upon which I entered as a war of defence and liberation has now become a war of aggression and conquest. I believe that the purposes for which I and my fellow soldiers entered upon this war should have been so clearly stated as to have made it impossible to change them, and that, had this been done, the objects witch actuated us would now be attainable by negotiation.

I have seen and endured the suffering of the troops, and I can no longer be a party to prolong these sufferings for ends which I believe to be evil and unjust. I am not protesting against the conduct of the war, but against the political errors and insincerity's for which the fighting men are being sacrificed.

On behalf of those who are suffering now I make this protest against the deception which is being practised on them; also I believe that I may help to destroy the callous complacence with which the majority of those at home regard the continuance of agonies which they do not share, and which they have not sufficient imagination to realise.

~S. Dugoboy, the newsreader reminds me of the racist Lady from "Little Britain." Whereas she projectile-vomits at the mere mention of "coloured person," he seems to be stifling a gag reflex at having to say the words displayed on the prompter. I'm sure he's gagging at having to report on what strikes him as the treasonous rantings of a traitor, but at a different level, what he's having to read out is striking at the weakest points of his conscious world-view. Enough to make you feel like losing your lunch.

As to why it ended up on his teleprompter in the first place - which is another thing he might have been pondering as he was reading it - I'm not sure. Maybe it's Katrina-esque conditioning - "Even if you know what's going on - and we'll even from time to time say to your face and to the world what's going on - there's not a lot you can do about it. Fall back upon yourself. There is nothing you can do."

I've done a little investigation on the art of lying and what I've found out via "experts" is that when someone doesn't want to tell the truth, there are many ways they try to prevent it or delay it. Covering the mouth with a hand, picking lint from clothing, coughing... clearing the throat.

To be fair, at the end of the segment (if that was the end) he was clearing his throat again. Maybe he's catching a cold. Or maybe he had to tell a little more truth after what we saw and he didn't want to.

See, there it is again. The unknowable, unprovable which leaves the truth seeker in a lurch. And sounding like a wild eyed conspiracy theorist, just like they like it to be.

When I watch the newscasters talking about 9/11 and the "conspiracy theories", they act like none of it is questionable, that in itself tells me they are totally scripted shills for the news. Or the least inquisitive bunch of people who ever walked the face of the earth. Surely they've got way more inside info than even Alex Jones has.

You know, I can see someone making a mistake and selling out once. Of course, a person with a conscience wouldn't do this often. When I see the media, day after day, either through their silence or their condescention, squelching 9/11 information that really should be top headlines, I have to wonder just what kind of minds these people have. If I had to compromise myself day after day, mislead millions of people day after day... what a miserable existence it would be. Certainly wouldn't be worth that Lexus or that house in the hills.

But I guess it would be worth staying alive.

Edited by: pugzleyca3 at: 8/16/06 8:02 am

I think an attack in the USA would see the rapid removal of Dubya from office.

Alex interviewed on Alan Colmes' show (FOX radio)

Some were curious about his past/background. In the last few minutes during phone calls, he gets into his family and history -for those who wish to investigate...

hinux.hin.no/~yallis/tmp/...mes-aj.mp3

Thanks for the Colmes link. It's probably my favorite venue for hearing a Jones appearance.
Unlike his own show, where he has complete control to freely rant or go off topic. Or say, a venue like coast to coast, where there is usually a majority receptive audience, The Colmes show provides a fertile venue to a big audience that may not be familiar with the subject matter and where Jones has to show good time management skills. And unlike a big Neocon show, Colmes lets him go without talking over him too much while still directing him to be on point. You can tell that while Colmes, wishes to remain agnostic, he's still impressed with the infotainment value and talent of Jones. Then Colmes puts on a good balance of descenting and accepting voices at the end, and this is where Jones is really in his element as he slices and dices non believers without benefit of his own engineer's finger on the dump pot.

Edited by: OnoI812 at: 8/20/06 6:15 am
