thoughtographer, I really was poking fun at myself. I'm such a conspiracist, I have a tendency to put on the tin-foil hat at the, well, drop of a hat. I wouldn't blame you a bit for laughing at that ridiculous post.

another take on this:

perhaps someone's telling you that, but it's not the case. It's possible someone's just trying to use fear of shame to control your surfing habits. Read what you want and don't let others tell you lies to shut you down and control you.

Speaking of laughing:

There was a great sketch on "The Ben Stiller Show" that parodied U2's music video for "Where The Streets Have No Name", in which Stiller played Bono presiding over the "impromptu" city rooftop concert, shouting "THEY'RE TRYING TO SHUT US DOWN" while nothing more than a handful of people are walking around below, ignoring the obviously staged, totally shoddy publicity stunt.
"A crooked stick will cast a crooked shadow."

HUH? If Jeff and 95% of the posters on here are laughing at ...me..and if I am one of the 95%, does that mean I am laughing at myself? And how does Dizzy Lizzy know who Jeff is laughing at? OMG, is she ...you know...spying on you, Jeff? OMG, how does Lizzy know what 95% of us are laughing at? Does this mean...what I think she means? She's spying on all us? Is she focusing beams on the whole lot of us? Damn, and here I am, out of my store of tinfoil to defend myself. Stuff all that fresh air nonsense, I have to get myself and the pickup to the store for a new load of aluminum foil.

I suppose if 95% of us are laughing, I don't see much of a problem.

OK, back from the grocery store with the new stock, head suitably and thickly molded with aluminum. What's that Jeff, not much of a problem? Well, shit no, not for the 95%, only for the 5%.

Interesting math going on around here. I think it's the five percent doing the laughing.
"A crooked stick will cast a crooked shadow."
