<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Frum">Former Bush Speech Writer</a> and <a href="http://www.counterpunch.org/chuckman01062004.html">prominent Neo Con</a>, David Frum <a href="http://www.booktv.org/AfterWords/index.asp?segID=6021&schedID=365">interviewed the publisher of The Nation, Victor Navasky</a> on "After Words", one of CSPAN's author interview shows. About 12 minutes into the interview, Frum brings up the Lefty-blogosphere's sudden interest in "Conspiracy Theories" (which he refers to as a disease), and questions whether print publication like The Nation have a responsibility to address the "excessive paranoia". They spend about 10 mintues on the topic and then Frum moves on to the Nation's connections with the "American Aristocracy". Later they discuss Orwell and the Communist Conspiracy. <a href="http://www.booktv.org/ram/afterwords/0705/arc_btv071705_4.ram">Check it out</a>, because it's clearly a topic that get's under Frum's skin, and it's one of many signs nowadays that this stuff is spreading, and "they" are getting worried. So, should we be mentally preparing ourselves for the possibility that we are appoaching that critical mass of official world-view skeptics sooner than we expected? We are in uncharted waters here, so maybe so. And depending on how things play out, and how quickly the Big Lies get revealed (since I suspect kind of self-reinforcing process of cascading revelations is possible with a lot of this stuff), and how completely people let go of their current world-views, there might be a lot of people looking to guidance from the very radicals that helped expose this stuff. At some point, if we're ever going to end this madness, communities like this are going to be in the spotlight. So yeah, prepare yourselves folks. It would certainly seem so, assuming we don't posess some radically different makeup than the rest of humanity. Then again, I'm pretty much resigned to perpetual "horror movie limbo", as I can no longer take the emotional roller-coaster of anticipating a "big break-through". About cascading conspiracies, didn't Daniel Pipes write about the frightening possibility of the occult researchers merging with the political conspiracists? Heh! Here is a critique of Pipe's book, I think that concern was expressed in this latest book though I have not read it. This kind of stuff is probably best left away from national TV though, it kills the credibility of exposing the smaller-scale conspiracies like the WAR. --I told someone recently I was trying to learn Astral Projection and remote viewing so I can see what REALLY happens at the Bohemian Grove. Maybe the good news is that although "they" are capable of incredible evil their sphere is limited. The internet is vital to everyone and cannot be shut down and maintain the facade that we still have our freedom. If they had been able to plant wmd in Iraq they surely would have. Maybe we give them too much credit. After all they are simply a group of psychotic, greedy human(?) beings conspiring against the masses. Their tenacles are not endless-yet.

Why would they not be able to plant WMD. Gee didn't Powell wave around a vial of "anthrax" at the UN. All you needed to do was plant some precursor chemicals in some bunkers that were overrun. There was a story out about an attempt. I read several accounts of how there had been an effort to plant WMD evidence shortly after the end of the invasion. It had to be done in secret, of course. So the grunts weren't told. So when the grunts discover unauthorised activity, they did what they had to do. Apparently there aren't many of the evidence planters still alive.

Notorious fame has spread That I'm a shameless scandalizer. -Sergey Yesenin The evening of February 8, 2002 was marked by a unusually nauseous dampness. Something between rain and snow dripped from the gray sky, turning upon contact with the ground into a dirty sucking ooze. Sharp gusts of wet February wind penetrated to the bones of those rare passers-by unfortunate enough to be caught in the gloom of the dark streets of Kharkov. All in all, it was memorable weather... And only in one courtyard of one multi-storeyed building on Moscow Prospekt could an unusual liveliness be observed, which upon closer examination turned out to be an agitated commotion. A crowd of frightened men and women holding crying children shivered in the wind, illuminated by the headlamps of numerous ambulances, fire-trucks and police cars. In the meanwhile, in one of the apartments of the evacuated stairwell whose residents were standing and freezing on the street a search was in progress. The owner of the "suspicious apartment" was me. It all began like this: Around 7 p.m. there was a ring at the door. Strange, because I wasn't expecting guests. Standing at my door was a platoon, no less, of policemen in bulletproof vests. "Citizen Hodos? We've received information there's a bomb in your apartment. Get dressed, take your documents and go out onto the street." "Wait, what bomb? Where did you get your information?" "Hurry up. We're going to seal off the stairwell. We're bringing the dogs in to search for explosives." "OK. But only in the presence of my attorney. There's valuable artwork in the apartment which your dogs could damage by mistake..." This was the "bomb" they were looking for. After an hour my attorney arrived. In the interval, the cops in bulletproof vests exhibited an enviable calm, considering their proximity to the presumed "explosive device". The search began without the dogs' participation. Apparently it was decided not to disturb the canines in such miserable weather. There was far less concern about the apartment's owner, however: I was invited to personally help search for the "infernal machine". Carefully supervised by the bomb squad, I started opening drawers, closets, removing pictures from the walls... In a word, I played the role of minesweeper. The "mine-clearing" finished without incident. And it couldn't have been otherwise, for the bomb which they were looking for (but fortunately didn't find) presented no danger to human life. That fact was well known to the masters of the "bloodhounds" whose keen sense of smell proved unneeded that evening. But there was a bomb after all -- a delayed-action bomb. And I'm the one who planted it. I'm the terrorist who created it myself and named it "The Jewish Syndrome 2-1/2". In our day, this kind of "weapon of mass destruction" is the most effective ... and the most dangerous. Because the explosion it causes is in people's brains, blowing away the encrustation of years and years of "brainwashing", cleaning out the gray matter and forcing it into motion...
