<br><br>Not to split hairs, but to me it's not so much a class war, because those bastards have no class, no panache, no real respect other than what they can drill into others by use of raw financial/social/psychological/military power based on their own and others' fear. <br><br>I prefer to think of this whole conflict in the context of those who can only think and play in the finite winner/loser paradigm, with cartels, control, monopolies, greed, hate, fear, etc. vs. the worldwide, universe-wide infinite game. And by playing in that fashion, they lose before they begin.<br><br>They're not aliens, but they're alienated from themselves, from others, and from the universe in general. And in that sense, they are a pale echo of the classic satan myth, even as they try to use that mythos to blow validation into their puffery.<br><br>They are morally stunted, emotionally bereft, sociopathically isolated, tragically for the rest of us & the planet.
