He could/should have made *the* 9/11 movie. And his books are mo(o)re about him than his subject matter. "We" need showmen, people with the ego and/or balls to stand up front, but I think he's squandered major opportunities. His baseball-cap Joe Sixpack schtick is looking like a pose. I'm disappointed.

Responses?

He's no Alex Jones

Too bad there isn't a hybrid model.

I can do w/o AJ's basic X-tian fundamentalism but at least he
comes across as someone who is really angry about the PTB
and is taking risks and calling shit out. Something that far too many on the left are afraid of doing - I guess out of fear of further marginalization by the MM.

I like the work at GNN, but they're still too far under the radar.

I agree. Very disappointing. The most glaring omission from his Fahrenheit 9/11 film was the PNAC. No mention of their infamous statement that they'd need a "new Pearl Harbor." It had to be intentional -- he's not stupid. But, apparently he is a left gatekeeper. I can't figure out any other reasonable explanation.

A bit off topic, but related in that lefties are in denial and/or they're gatekeeping either intentionally or out of ignorance:

Why Can't the Left Face the Stolen Elections of 2004 and 2008?
by Bob Fitrakis and Harvey Wasserman
