ezboard Search Suucks

Postby robertdreed » Sun Oct 30, 2005 9:48 am

Let me clear my throat: ezboard Search Suucks.

Example: I tried a search for the term "dylan." Off of the "Discussion 2" page. Not case sensitive, search within either subject heading or the text of the message.

1 entry.

I know for a fact that there are more.

I went searching for the "KRI" entry. Nothin'.

I searched for the term "radio." It pulled up maybe 8 or 9 entries- no "Radio KRI" discussion.

I'd like to know if other posters on the RI board have noticed a similar problem.

Edited by: robertdreed at: 10/30/05 6:49 am

Robert,
Yes, all the time.
This last week I've had the experience of using the search and getting no results, then manually searching and finding plenty. Three times this week.
It's a good argument for consolidation.
Can I ask all posters to make sure their "new" thread isn't something that has been raised during the previous day or two?

OT
That crap about society with secrets. Ever heard of a false dichotomy? Crafty fuckers, those Freemasons.

And the Lodge list is something to which you consent. You wannabe "Sovereign Master of the Chamberpot", that's the price you pay.
But you won't find, for example, the name of Mr Blair on a Lodge list, will you?

Robert, yes it does.

However, I have recently archived a Dylan and some radio threads to the "Media" folder.

I really despise the 20-page limit.
