Deleting posts of previously banned users

Postby Rigorous Intuition » Fri Nov 25, 2005 11:35 am

Beginning this morning, when previously banned posters return with a new name or new IP their posts will be deleted without explanation as soon as I see them. (For instance, Zundel, aka soulman, aka moustache, aka catbear.)

I'm reluctant to restrict posting to registered users, so we'll see how this goes before taking that step.

Edited by: Rigorous Intuition at: 11/25/05 11:26 am

Since this site hits so close to the truth, it is a magnet for disinfo pro's and sociopathological trolls.

I had stopped visiting after becoming weary of the zionist apologists and 911 disinfromationists swarm, but this gives hope that the truth may still be allowed to be discussed.

Thanks, Jeff, for all you do.

"I'm reluctant to restrict posting to registered users, so we'll see how this goes before taking that step."

Personally, I think you should do that Jeff. I don't see why people can't just take the extra 5 minutes to register an E-Z Board account if they feel they have something to contribute or a question to ask.

full disclosure

Postby firstimer » Sun Dec 04, 2005 10:40 pm

Jeff,

In the spirit of full disclosure, how about putting the posts in one of the many archives. The topic could be "banned posts", each thread could be by perp, with all of the aliases listed. This wat not only can we study technique, those of us who missed the runup to the ejection could have a chance to see how tolerant you were before you ejected them.

I'm sorry if it's way out of line to suggest such ideas, but dialog here on the internet has very special opportunities in historic terms and if we don't live up to those opportunities then we are no better than those who aranged history for their own benefit in the past with the written word.

just a suggestion

firstimer
