jeff - not being, nor wishing to be, a paypal user, you could enable my urge to support my home away from home by providing a physical address and payee to where and to whom a check could be sent.

i may not be the only one that would like to have this option.

there may be valid reasons why you wouldn't want to do this. but if you can think of a way around them, please do.

Thanks for asking, sw.

Yes, my paypal balance is enough to cover it, so I'm not making an appeal for more funds.

FWIW, since I added the paypal button last year I've received between $1,500 and $2,000 CDN, for which I'm tremendously grateful. The donations were an inexpressible relief and encouragement after I lost my job last winter. I've been working fulltime since September, and whatever I've received since goes into maintaining the sites (the radio service costs $300 a year) and my research budget.

RI's a labour of love for me (or maybe I should say labour of discovery, because I can't say I love much of what I've learned). The CafePress merchandise, for instance, is sold at cost.

If this were a democracy, I would vote for a board with a better search function.
