Given the interest in the Donnie Darko thread a while back, I thought I would throw this one out there.

Anyone with thoughts on the movie Frailty?

I don't know if there's a hidden parapolitical message, but it's got messages from God, mystical weapons, demonic possession, ritual murder and other intrigues.

I'm not good with names of actors and actresses, but I do know it had Matthew McConnahy (sp?) and Hamm's beer.

Bill Paxton directed. Great acting and writing. I enjoyed it, and I don't usually like horror movies. It was quietly menacing, without all the usual blood and gore. Was Paxton's character crazy or really on a mission from God? Great premise for a movie.

Not sure about parapolitics, except what it says about our expectations of crazy bible thumpers.
