he just got mixed up in the 911 fever. just a man, after all.

im listening to it now, have been all day. "maybe obama" he says, in the 'looking for a leader' song. in other words, hes still just a man, pretty mainstream, pretty 'normal.'

i lost a lot of respect for the guy after his 'lets roll' song. does 'living with war' as an album cancel out that one song? i think so.

at least somebodys getting 'political' out there.

of course, this is just a base-line, mainstream way to look at it.

I don't expect too much from any celebs..I would have thought that Mr Young would know better than to support "George the Mad " in the first place..More upsetting is that more celebs don't speak out..Celebs have HUGE power and could make a difference..I do give "Ole Neal "credit for his new stance and wish he would look deeper into the current fasc"maybe obama" is takeover.

"maybe obama" is a huge cop-out and propaganda ..as IF one rookie senator would make a change.

What has Obama done?? Except to vote for the bush agenda!

Obama

Postby darkbeforedawn » Sun Apr 30, 2006 12:39 am

Rumour has it that Obama is a shill, planted to look "ethnic" but actually working for the NWO agenda and with strong ties to the UK. I think I saw this at Alex Jones, not the most credible source unfortunately

Jeff, or maybe another RI member, has pointed out some curiosities regarding Obama in the past that paint him in an unpleasant light..

Neil Young

Postby Pissed Off Cabbie » Sun Apr 30, 2006 9:01 pm

I'm dissatisfied with Neil's effort here. We needed him to go all the way, and discuss 9/11 complicity. Calling for impeachment now, when everyone else in the room has, dosen't seem so brave to me. I wish someone other than that one lone rapper would spell it out.

You can read between the lyrics that Neil Young has woken up to the 9/11 lies....particularly the song "No more Lies:.

Its that subtext that is the basis for the anger behind these lyrics...particularly "Living with War". This song will become the new anti war anthem.

I am enjoying listening to the album right now. It's great! Thank you Neil!

GC
