what a weekend

Postby havanagilla » Sat Jun 17, 2006 5:51 pm

A blogger, Rapunzel (www.rapunzel.org.il) just committed a suicide in israel, after saying she will do so soon. Since I had a brief brush with her, via emails these last few days, i feel disturbed. perhaps "the energies" effected me too much these last few days. appologees if i went overboard ...maybe I picked up the impending disaster, and just didn't know how to process.

Edited by: havanagilla at: 6/17/06 4:57 pm

How horrible. I'm sorry to hear this, and for any energies you may have picked up.

The link seems to be down now, though the blog still shows up in Google cache.

I appreciated your original post(but didn't get to read it in detail as I was engaged), and do not feel you had anything to apologize for. Everyone's story is important, and I'd like to see you return this thead to it's original state or at least explain again what happened to your aquaintance, whom I express my condolences over.

cheers,
D

I'm so sorry Hava.

It's been a terrible week, there is some kind of odd energy about. I've had two disastrous things happen to me personally, and one absolute tragedy, the death of a friend in a motorcycle accident.

I'm on vacation and all I can do is lie around and cry.

Hava, I am truly so sorry to hear about your friend. The worst think about suicide is the heartache of those left behind.

Willow, I second that. I got the worst news yesterday concerning an ongoing tragedy in my family. Right now, I just feel numb; maybe because the person affected is being so stoic; for our sake, I'm sure. If she were to break down, we'd really be in hell.

thanks all.
Arcadia, the way I told the story about her, is too fuzzy and confused, when I feel more grounded I will regroup and post a more organized piece about her. i slept just a few hours tonight, I was too upset. It was like watching a gladiator game, with the known death in the end.

Edited by: havanagilla at: 6/18/06 12:32 am

PW, it could be some "rocking the boat" in the larger structures of the perps orgs, that might account for some of this "energy" and disasters. Can't speak with certainty, but at least in Israel, there is some subterrenian activity. I hread the number of some 100,000 people in israel connected to the circles/hierarchies of MC/cult activity. I am told that there was some form of dismanteling, release of people and I am sure, a lot of death as well. that, besides the usual natural cycles. Spring is growth, danger, and death as well. April is considered the cruelest of them all, but I would say it stretches well into early June.(spring fever). Life wants to burst and blossom and be free, sometimes it bursts too audaciously, and gets killed, as a youth on a bike, or as a beautiful soul like that blogger, that her revelation of freedom, overloaded her system and caused her to commit a suicide, she was overwhelmed with a will to be free.
--

Re: more on the blogger who committed suicide

Postby havanagilla » Mon Jun 19, 2006 8:50 am

OK, there are a bit more details now.
Her name is Merav Kaner, and now there are numerous articles, blogs and what not, about this affair.
Apparently, and the relevant part in her story, for me, she was a daughter of a well to do family, from tel aviv, and claims to have suffered physical and emotional abuse in her family. Started having mental problems at 16 with ongoing hospitalizations and suicide attempts. Never theless the succeeded completing MA in Lit, and married and had two kids.
Two years ago, she went public about her family abuse, and confronted her family. She said that they are poisonous to her and that she must become more independent and only the money keeps her in touch. she stopped seeing them. but then it probably didn't do much good, and she also divorced and the rest is history.
I have a sense of deeper darkness, but not sure.
--
Certainly, the affair as it came about in the bloggosphere was strange, and involved a lot of predatory elements.
news.nana.co.il/Article/?...13&sid=126
that's an old post about her in a newsblog (HEBREW), and her photo.

Edited by: havanagilla at: 6/19/06 3:19 pm
