<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>It's a feature, not a bug...</em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END--><br><br>At any rate, it's not a dark conspiracy against individual posters by the overlords of EZBoard. You most likely end up withe the above dreaded result due to certain combinations of characters that the parser interprets as an attempt to insert HTML in your postings -- which, obviously, is not allowed.<br><br>For example, if you were to use --.> (without the dot) to indicate some sort of cause-effect, you're <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>guaranteed </em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->to lose your post because of this "feature." Just something to keep in mind. And if you spend a lot of time on a comment, consider editing it somewhere else, and saving it frequently.<br> <p></p><i></i>

Thanks for the nuts-and-bolts assistance in dealing with this feature.<br><br>Much appreciated. <br><br>I have saved some stuff that wouldn't post and it seems that adding the bold and italics and underlining has ezboard's software inserting its own characters that it then rejects.<br><br>And to that I can only repeat 'WTF?':rolleyes <p></p><i></i>
