Stolen property is one of my favorite songs of all time.

In fact that record has a few on it, "tender is the night" (the one with the little bit above, about the man who said he's done it all, and stuff, for all you poor sould that have never been exposed to the Triffids.) and "Its a Wide Open Road".

That song is just so ... I dunno it captures something about Australia. Thats its big flat and empty probably.

jc I heard Robert Mccomb on the radio the other day saying the triffids, well minus David were going to be playing somewhere in europe, possibly in sept. They were invited by a former club they used to play at in Belgium, maybe. I know for sure they were on the radio on JJJ recently talking about the 20th anniversary of "Born..."

If you are in europe look out for it. I think it was on triple js aussie music show, hosted by Kaz tran, there's probably something at the triple J website.

Stolen Property is on right now actually.

"She can't hurt you now can't hurt you now."

Its a great song.

You stumble sometimes fall
Pick yourself up
hold yourself up to the light

Its on a stoney ridge. And I am not a widower, I am with the woman i have loved since before this planet coalesced out of rocks and gas and what the sun didn't want..

(But tho I'll go no further into it than this, she nearly died in my arms at the bottom of a gully/ravine in the middle of the rainforest in January. So i nearly was.)

But we sure have the place to ourselves. cept the old dead blackfellas (whose property was it?) that wander by and the wildlife. And the cars on the road thats only recently been sealed. And the arsehole real estate agents with internet sales pitches. Sighs wistfully.

I used to love U2.

Ha hows that for coming out.

i still don't mind them tho i haven't really listened to them since Actung Baby. Saw them in 84, 88, and 93. Even now I still listen to them and hear whatever it was that I thought was cool.

But these days the only thing Bono is good for is to laugh at. Always reminds me of that saying Richard pryor had. "Cocaine addiction is God's way of telling you you've got too much money."

Ha I always cop shit for liking U2. Oh well.

In fact I saw U2 in 93 then went out to my local at the time (The Great Britain hotel in Richmond. Another classic music venue and underground pub that was yuppified. A few years ago i was watching a tv show about tv starts favorite pubs and there were 2 cockheads from neighbours standing in the renovated GB speaking shit about its great atmosphere. (Not while you were in there scumsuckers).

Anyway I think Damaged was playing. Or else MullGrinder or Warpspasm, on of those local GB bands that I think Pantera sound like they have ripped off. Even now all these years later.

And I was thinking gee you know, U2 Actaulkly sounded louder and more intense than theses guys. I know it was probably the PA. But still it was weird.

But yeah the ridge is good. And escaping the BS was good for a while, but it has a way of comiung to find you.

"Now the DEA has got a chopper in the air.
I wake up screaming like I am back over there.
I learned a thing or 2 from Charlie don't you know.
You better stay away..."

One thing wehave never been free of out here is those fucking choppers.

israel's faustian bargain and the possible blowback

Postby jc » Tue Aug 08, 2006 11:14 am

back to topic. been thinking some more on this and i have this to add.

i think we've all seen or read about the five dancing israelis and the art school students. the most common reactions to these facts have been either "they dun it! they run the guvmint. they's behind everthang, elmuh! i's tellin ya!" or silence.

i have a different take. jonathan pollard as i recall was busted for handing over info on the sales of US arms to israels enemies: neighbouring arab countries. (the US PsTB (or Imperial Rome out Heroding Herod, to drive the analogy down through the centuries) playing both sides against the middle here.) as with the running AIPAC spy case downplayed for the most part what does get out is "why? why would israel spy on a friendly nation?"

and what comes to my mind is "what do you mean by friendly?"

if the reputations of bush co and partners are anything to go by then i think the israeli gov (no angels for sure) know who they're dealing with, that's why they spend the amount of rescources and manpower keeping an eye on the "friendly nation" that they do. protection.

that's where the reports of israeli agents keeping an eye on a number of hijackers and the mossad early warnings come in. they wanted to know what was going on. and that's why they were speedily let out of the country. (this can be mojoed: "we had to let them go, they was in control, but now that we're free of their influence we can tell you they were behind 911. they forced us into it." like abe foxman and the adl, aipac and hollywood card can be played to show the extent of their power over the US when the backlash is run.)

they know, or at least they're as close to knowing as anyone can get about what went down on 911 and by whose hand without being on the inside.

of course this doesn't stop parts of the "911 truth" community from repeating over and over "they dun it!" which, although familiar, must be frustrating but at the same time i figure they're playing their knowledge card to the max.

thing is they may be too smart for their own good. you've heard that sharon quote: "america will do what we tell her to do"? (i paraphrase from memory.) this is usually provided as proof of zionist control of the world and the US. in my mind though it sounds like hubris, exaggerated self-regard, like a man clinging to the scales on leviathan's back hollerin' "ah'm in control! ah'm in control! ah'm a break this heah hoss if its the last thing ah do!" incredibly stupid. typical of sharon.

the problem is, i think, that israel figures it can outwit mephisto. i doubt that. the thing about most israeli intelligence ops, and i've heard their american counterparts say as much, is that they're too sexy by far, too convoluted, way too "smart" and "cunning." they buy their own propaganda/BS which is always a sign of danger. it's their weakness here.

it's being played back at them too, if i'm to go by the eyewitness accounts of the type: "i got a friend whose a joo and he says they do control everthang, they started all them wars and they owns the money and banks and they proud of it too. they think us go-yim is jus cattle" that have been popping up lately.

they're being played. i think they're gonna live to regret it.

* * * * *

help me out here and pull this apart if you think or know different. read the first part too. point out the weaknesses. or just plain tell me i'm paranoid but make sure you show me how and why.

Edited by: jc at: 8/8/06 9:49 am
