even in underground cities - they could get plenty of energy from the earth core temperature - they could maybe get suitable light for growing things from the energy - but what about water? - all the water they can get will be from the radiation-polluted surface - maybe they can get the radiation out of the water - the surface will be radiation-polluted for millions of years - how long can people live underground? - and if it is the 'elite', they will all be so aggressive, they will kill each other to get king of the underground castle

and anyway, if only the elite survive, itll still be death to us, wont it

i am not trying to get people to feel hopeless, but to get people to face the gravity of the situation so that that sense of the gravity will motivate them to investigate sincerely, seriously and stonecold soberly, the workable plan that is available, and not rely on lazy-thought plans, like hoping and praying and doing nothing and waiting and seeing

for some reason, people have a giant unthinking prejudice against equity - they think of equity as an absolute last resort - theyll try anything before that - but if they get real with how bad reality is for us, maybe theyll give equity a look - and think hard enough to see it is not a bad option, it is a brilliant option - it has no downside at all - 99% get more money, 90% get 10 to 1000 times as much money, everyone gets survival and peace instead of war and extinction, the 1% who get less money, get survival and happiness - total win-win -

how was we propagandaed into thinking equity was a bum deal?
