9/11 and Other Deep State Crimes Teleconference
wtc7 pentagon
Draft agenda for May 27, 2020

8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT) teleconference dial-in #
(605) 313-4118 Access code: 464958#

[Note: Some telephone service providers block access to this teleconference service, or require additional charges. If you encounter any of these difficulties, please try calling this alternative number: (425) 535-9195. You will then be required to key in the original phone number above before entering the access code. Please inform of us of any technical difficulties you encounter in accessing the teleconference.]

Greetings all,

Our agenda for tomorrow night's teleconference will begin with a few words on the passing of our devoted member and friend, James Hufferd. We’ll hear from Lin Cornelison, who for 14 years organized and set up the meetings for the Iowa 9/11 Truth group with James.

Our next speaker is Xander Arena, who has been a member of the teleconference for a number of years. He is a radiology worker specializing in nuclear medicine and leader of AE911Truth's verification team. He will be speaking to us about who might be behind the Covid-19 pandemic and some related issues.

And our third speaker is Tom Hillcutts, who has a degree in biophysics from Rice University and is the principal member of the law firm Willcutts & Habib in Hartford, CT. As a trial attorney, Tom has extensive experience handling product liability cases, where product manufacturers commonly employ scientific “hired gun” experts to obscure the truth about the dangers of a particular product. It is Tom’s opinion that such tactics were employed in support of the media campaign to discredit any questioning that the Covid-19 virus evolved naturally from an animal species, as opposed to it being developed in laboratory.

This will be followed by announcements as usual.

We hope you can join us for what should be a very interesting call.

Cheryl Curtiss
Craig McKee

Trigger of Kent State shootings is at heart of lawsuit seeking FBI documents

https://kentstateterrynorman.com

Michael Kuzma, a local lawyer, filed a federal court lawsuit seeking the release of FBI documents related to the Kent State shooting and the people, known and unknown, behind it.
The suit, filed on the anniversary of the bloodshed, seeks documents related to former FBI informant Terry Norman, the Kent State student who was carrying a pistol that day.
The FBI has already released a significant amount of documents regarding the campus shooting, but Kuzma insists there may be more that needs to be unearthed. He thinks Norman, whom the FBI has acknowledged was an informant, is the key to filling in the gaps.
“Why did he have a gun?” Kuzma asked. “We want to know to what extent the FBI controlled his actions that day.”
The FBI, citing privacy concerns, refused Kuzma’s initial request for more documents, and Kuzma followed up by filing his civil suit. Buffalo lawyer Daire Brian Irwin is representing Kuzma.

Cornyn Asks DOJ to Release Report on FBI Coverup of Larry Nassar Pedophile Investigation

In: All News   Posted 06/03/2020
Share:

WASHINGTON— U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) sent a letter yesterday asking Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz to release his report on the Federal Bureau of Information’s investigation into Larry Nassar’s abuse of Olympic gymnasts.
He wrote: “According to news reports, at least 40 professional athletes were abused by Nassar in the time between the USA Gymnastics made its report to the FBI and when he was publicly named as a perpetrator. An investigation into the FBI’s delays was first reported in September 2018, but nearly two years later, the report has yet to be released.”
“All victims deserve dignity and to have the crimes committed against them properly and fairly investigated. I am deeply concerned about evidence of the FBI’s lack of urgency, even as they were uncovering clear information that a predator continued to harm the athletes in his care.”
“Gymnastics has a powerful place in Texans’ hearts. I have always been proud to be a Texan and an American when watching such talented athletes compete on the world stage. What they suffered is unbearable. It can never happen again. Victims’ allegations must be investigated quickly, and their voices must be listened to. The release of this report is the first necessary step in determining how to move forward.”

Brooklyn Sociology Professor Alex Vitale Is doing some
good work around policing.

The End of Policing Hardcover –
by Alex S. Vitale (Author)

How the police endanger us and why we need to find an alternative
Recent years have seen an explosion of protest against police brutality and repression—most dramatically in Ferguson, Missouri, where longheld grievances erupted in violent demonstrations following the police killing of Michael Brown. Among activists, journalists, and politicians, the conversation about how to respond and improve policing has focused on accountability, diversity, training, and community relations. Unfortunately, these reforms will not produce results, either alone or in combination. The core of the problem must be addressed: the nature of modern policing itself. “Broken windows” practices, the militarization of law enforcement, and the dramatic expansion of the police’s role over the last forty years have created a mandate for officers that must be rolled back.

This book attempts to spark public discussion by revealing the tainted origins of modern policing as a tool of social control. It shows how the expansion of police authority is inconsistent with community empowerment, social justice—even public safety. Drawing on groundbreaking research from across the world, and covering virtually every area in the increasingly broad range of police work, Alex Vitale demonstrates how law enforcement has come to exacerbate the very problems it is supposed to solve.

In other newes….

The Plot to Kill Martin Luther King Jr
Author
attorney William Pepper

King Was Still Alive

In one of the shocking bits of information revealed in his 2017 book, Pepper says King actually survived the shot and was still alive when he arrived at St. Joseph’s Hospital and that he was killed by a doctor.

The hospital story was told to Pepper by a man names Johnton Shelby, whose mother, Lula Mae Shelby, had been a surgical aide at St. Joseph’s that night. Shelby told Pepper the story of how his mother came home the morning after the shooting and shared this story with the family:

She described Chief of surgery Dr. Breen Bland entering the emergency room with two men in suits. Seeing doctors working on King, Bland commanded, “Stop working on the [N-word] and let him die! Now all of you get out of here, right now. Everybody get out.”

Johnton Shelby says his mother described hearing the sound of the three men sucking up saliva into their mouths and then spitting. Lula Mae said she looked back over her shoulder as she was leaving the room and saw that the breathing tube had been removed from King and that Bland was holding a pillow over his head.

Ron Adkins helped confirm this story. Ron, who was 16 at the time of the murder, remembered hearing Breen Bland say to his father, “If he’s not killed by the shot, just make sure he gets to St. Joseph Hospital, and we’ll make sure he doesn’t leave

Retired FBI Agent: ‘No FBI Agent Has to Take a Knee’
The writer served 27 years in the FBI, 21 of them tactical with four SWAT teams and the HRT (Hostage Rescue Team). He retired in 2012.  He also served in Marines for eight years.   His commentary is in response to a report in ticklethewire.com that FBI agents in Washington recently took a knee at the urging of people protesting police brutality and the death of  George Floyd.

Dana Milbank: Bill Barr Was a Bully as a Kid, And Now As An Adult

http://ticklethewire.com/2020/06/10/dan ... -an-adult/

Get the feeling law enforcement in this country is being run by a middle-school bully?
If so, you are not wrong. Childhood bullies have a predisposition to become adult bullies, research shows, and, sure enough, it seems Attorney General William Barr was a teenage bully more than 50 years ago.
Back in 1991, during Barr’s confirmation to be George H.W. Bush’s attorney general, lawyer Jimmy Lohman, who overlapped with Barr at New York’s Horace Mann School and later Columbia University, wrote a piece for the little-known Florida Flambeau newspaper about Barr being “my very own high-school tormentor” — a “classic bully” and “power abuser” in the 1960s who “put the crunch on me every chance [he] got.”

http://commdocs.house.gov/committees/ju ... 136_0f.htm

THE ACTIVITIES OF THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION

Over the last few years troubling allegations have been raised concerning the FBI. These allegations have been raised principally by Dr. Frederic Whitehurst, a supervisory special agent who works in the FBI lab. The numerous allegations that Dr. Whitehurst raised eventually resulted in an investigation by the Department of Justice's Inspector General. The results of that investigation were released just last month, and a 500-page report is the subject of today's hearing

For example, in the case of United States versus Psinakis, the FBI explosives examiner reached the conclusion that tools found in the defendant's home contained residue of an explosive by relying in part on collateral evidence that was collected during a search of the defendant's garbage, rather than conducting appropriate scientific tests of the tools themselves. We specifically concluded that the examiner's work in the Psinakis case was inadequate and unprofessional.

In the case involving the bombing of an Avianca Airlines jet, we determined that the FBI explosives examiner's testimony regarding the type of bomb used was based on a theory that was scientifically unsound and beyond the examiner's expertise.

We found other instances of examiners giving inaccurate testimony. In a hearing conducted by the Investigating Committee of the Judicial Council of the Eleventh Circuit regarding then-judge Alcee Hastings, the lab examiner testified falsely that he had performed a certain scientific test, when in fact another examiner had performed the test, and he also testified inaccurately regarding the results and significance of the test.

In a death penalty case in Florida, another examiner, who was the chief of the Chemistry-Toxicology Unit, testified inaccurately on several points, including testimony about tests he had performed or the results of those tests.

when you think of the FBI do you think of a federal law enforcement agency? Or do you think of a secretive domestic intelligence agency that has for over a century continuously spied on dissent?

We invite you to join DRAD Policy Director Chip Gibbons as he hosts our new Still Spying Podcast, which explores the FBI’s continuing First Amendment abuse. In addition to being our policy director, Chip is a noted FBI expert, journalist, and commentator. His writings on the FBI have appeared in The Intercept, Washington Post, and The Nation.

Our podcast builds on our groundbreaking report titled Still Spying on Dissent: The Enduring Problem of FBI First Amendment Abuse, which documented a century of FBI spying and contextualized it in the larger history of the Bureau.

In this new limited series podcast, Chip will be joined in conversation by experts and activists and will explore everything from the failure to reform the FBI, the FBI’s own war on Black dissent, the FBI’s dual role as both law enforcement and intelligence, and how the issue of political surveillance fits into larger discussions about policing.

Our debut episode, “Legacy of Abuse: From The Palmer Raids to Black Identity Extremism,” is available now and features a conversation with Mike German, retired FBI agent, a fellow in the Brennan Center for Justice's Liberty and National Security program, and the author of Disrupt, Discredit, and Divide: How the New FBI Damages Democracy.

You can find it here or wherever you get your favorite podcasts

‪D. Cooperation Between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Local Police Departments in Disrupting the Black Panther Party‬

‪↩ INTRODUCTION‬
‪In August 1967, the FBI initiated a covert action program -- COINTELPRO -- to disrupt and "neutralize" organizations which the Bureau characterized as "Black Nationalist Hate Groups." [1] The FBI memorandum expanding the program described its goals as:‬
‪1. Prevent a coalition of militant black nationalist groups....‬
‪2. Prevent the rise of a messiah who could unify and electrify the militant nationalist movement ... Martin Luther King, Stokely Carmichael and Elijah Muhammad all aspire to this position....‬
‪3. Prevent violence on the part of black nationalist groups....‬
‪4. Prevent militant black nationalist groups and leaders from gaining respectability by discrediting them....‬
‪5. . . . prevent the long-range growth of militant black nationalist organizations, especially among youth. [2]‬
‪The targets of this nationwide program to disrupt "militant black nationalist organizations" included groups such as the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), the Revolutionary Action Movement (RAM), and the Nation of Islam (NOI). It was expressly directed against such leaders as Martin Luther King, Jr., Stokley Carmichael, H. Rap Brown, Maxwell Stanford, and Elijah Muhammad.‬
‪The Black Panther Party (BPP) was not among the original "Black Nationalist" targets. In September 1968, however, FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover described the Panthers as:‬
‪"the greatest threat to the internal security of the country.‬
‪"Schooled in the Marxist-Leninist ideology and the teaching of Chinese Communist leader Mao Tse-tung, its members have perpetrated numerous assaults on police officers and have engaged in violent confrontations with police throughout the country. Leaders and representatives of the Black Panther Party travel extensively all over the, United States preaching their gospel of hate and violence not only to ghetto residents, but to students in colleges, universities and high schools is well." [3]‬
‪By July 1969, the Black Panthers had become the primary focus of the program, and was ultimately the target of 233 of the total authorized "Black Nationalist" COINTELPRO actions. [4]‬
‪Although the claimed purpose of the Bureau's COINTELPRO tactics was to prevent violence, some of the FBI's tactics against the BPP were clearly intended to foster violence, and many others could reasonably have been expected to cause violence. For example, the FBI's efforts to "intensify the degree of animosity" between the BPP and the Blackstone Rangers, a Chicago street gang, included sending an anonymous letter to the gang's leader falsely informing him that the the Chicago Panthers had "a hit out" on him. [5] The stated intent of the letter was to induce the Ranger leader to "take reprisals against" the Panther leadership. [6]‬
‪Similarly, in Southern California, the FBI launched a covert effort to "create further dissension in the ranks of the BPP." [7] This effort included mailing anonymous letters and caricatures to BPP members ridiculing the local and national BPP leadership for the express purpose of exacerbating an existing "gang war" between the BPP and an organization called the United Slaves (US). This "gang war" resulted in the killing of four BPP members by members of US and in numerous beatings and shootings. Although individual incidents in this dispute cannot be directly traced to efforts by the FBI, FBI officials were clearly aware of the violent nature of the dispute, engaged in actions which they hoped would prolong and intensify the dispute, and proudly claimed credit for violent clashes between the rival factions which. in the words of one FBI official, resulted in "shootings, beatings, and a high degree of unrest in the area of southeast San Diego." [8]‬
‪James Adams, Deputy Associate Director of the FBI's Intelligence Division, told the Committee:‬
‪None of our programs have contemplated violence, and the instructions prohibit it, and the record of turndowns of recommended actions in some instances specifically say that we do not approve this action because if we take it it could result in harm to the individual. [9]‬
‪But the Committee's record suggests otherwise. For example, in May 1970, after US organization members had already killed four BPP members, the Special Agent in Charge of the Los Angeles FBI office wrote to FBI headquarters:‬
‪Information received from local sources indicate that, in general, the membership of the Los Angeles BPP is physically afraid of US members and take premeditated precautions to avoid confrontations.‬
‪In view of their anxieties, it is not presently felt that the Los Angeles BPP can be prompted into what could result in an internecine struggle between the two organizations. . . .‬
‪The Los Angeles Division is aware of the mutually hostile feelings harbored between the organizations and the first opportunity to capitalize on the situation will be maximized. It is intended that US Inc. will be appropriately and discreetly advised of the time and location of BPP activities in order that the two organizations might be brought together and thus grant nature the opportunity to take her due course. [Emphasis added.] [10]‬
‪This report focuses solely on the FBI's counterintelligence program to disrupt and "neutralize" the Black Panther Party. It does not examine the reasonableness of the basis for the FBI's investigation of the BPP or seek to justify either the politics, the rhetoric, or the actions of the BPP. This report does demonstrate, however, that the chief investigative branch of the Federal Government, which was charged by law with investigating crimes and preventing criminal conduct, itself engaged in lawless tactics and responded to deep-seated social problems by fomenting violence and unrest‬

An important presentation on the Coronavirus and police state controls

Greetings all,

Apologies for the lateness of the agenda, which was the result of Internet-access problems. We have a fascinating speaker lined up, and we will depart from our usual approach by having an open discussion after the speaker. Initially, we can discuss the implications of what the speaker had to say, and then we can open up the floor to any topic on your minds, time permitting.

Our speaker is Helen Buyniski, a journalist and photographer based in New York City whose work has appeared on RT, Global Research, Ghion Journal, Progressive Radio Network, and Veterans Today.

Her recent Global Reseach piece is very appropriate for the Covid-19 event that we’ve all lived with for the last few months. It is called “The Lock Step Simulation Scenario: A Coronavirus pandemic that becomes trigger for police state controls”
https://www.globalresearch.ca/all-secto ... ar/5702773

Helen has a BA in Journalism from New School University and also studied at Columbia University and New York University. Find more of her work at http://www.helenofdestroy.com and http://medium.com/@helen.buyniski, or follow her on Twitter @velocirapture23. She is a frequent contributor to Global Research.

After the speaker and questions, we will have an open discussion about the implications of what she had to say or anything related to the topic. Time permitting, we will have an open discussion of any topic.

It will be a very interesting call. We hope you can be there.

6/26 Lunchtime LIVE: How the US killed democracy abroad & Bill Barr’s Justice Department. A conversation with journalist Tim Shorrock.

Last month was the 40th anniversary of Gwangju Uprising, a pro-democracy mobilization in South Korea that was violently repressed. Join us tomorrow, June 26, for a special Lunchtime Live with investigative journalist & author Tim Shorrock.

RSVP Today!
Tim will be discussing his decades-long efforts to expose US involvement in the repression of the democracy movement. Since 1996, Tim has received via FOIA over 4,000 declassified documents about the US role in the Gwangju Uprising, all of which he has made available online. Last month, he co-authored a piece with Injeong Kim “Two Days That Shattered Korean Democracy” outlining how recent revelations show that “the US response to a dictatorship’s repression in Gwangju in 1980 was even worse than we thought.” Tim will also be discussing his most recent piece for The Nation “How Bill Barr Became Trump’s Generalissimo.”

Tim is the author of Spies for Hire: The Secret World of Intelligence Outsourcing. He has been covering the intersection of national security and capitalism since the late 1970s. Carlos is a Senior Research Associate for the Institute of Race and Justice/Center for Criminal Justice Policy Research at Northeastern University. While only recently joining the Center for Criminal Justice Policy Research, Carlos has participated and led several research initiatives including his work as research assistant for the Punitiveness Project, a grant funded initiative documenting the exponential nationwide growth in the imprisonment of female offenders by state and over time. In subsequent years, Carlos served as research assistant on other projects including an assessment of reentry programs and practices at the Dedham Correctional Center and a comprehensive recidivism study for inmates released from Middlesex County House of Correction. Carlos dissertation “Understanding Persistent Offending Among Incarcerated Offenders through General Strain Theory” examined the role that the stressors of living in prison might add to the strains otherwise experienced by inmates. Through weekly trips to two correctional facilities for over a year, he surveyed 171 inmates to understand how responses to these additional strains are associated with variations in levels of prison misconduct. Carlos received his Ph.D. from Northeastern University. His graduate education began at the University of Connecticut where he earned his master’s degree in education and before that, his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Westfield State College. His graduate interests at UConn centered on the factors affecting access and quality of higher education for young adults of color. Though his interests today are still tied to race and ethnicity issues but within the criminal justice system, his main research has been on corrections and punishment with a specific focus on prison misconduct, recidivism, and reentry issues including collateral consequences of criminal convictions.

What if you lived in a country where, after the Administration negligently failed to prevent a major terrorist attack, they deliberately exploited everyone’s fears and utilized shock doctrine to do INSANELY stupid and dangerous things: things like launching costly pre-emptive wars, subverting law, and destroying the checks and balances of the Constitution and common standards of decency by re-instituting torture? Well, We DO live in that country.

Book Examines FBI’s Pursuit of ‘Whitey’ Bulger And His Arrest, Trial And Death

“Hunting Whitey: The Inside Story of the Capture and Killing of America’s Most Wanted Crime Boss”
By Steve Neavling

ticklethewire.com
A new book chronicles the FBI’s 16-year pursuit of James “Whitey” Bulger and his arrest, two-month trial and death in prison in 2018.
Journalists Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge painstakingly examine one of the most notorious crime bosses in American history in “Hunting Whitey: The Inside Story of the Capture and Killing of America’s Most Wanted Crime Boss.”
The book explores how Bulger, #1 on the FBI’s Most Wanted List, evaded capture for nearly two decades and was ultimately captured through the relentless efforts of federal agents.
The leader of Boston’s Winter Hill Gang was indicted on 19 counts of murder, racketeering, narcotics distribution and extortion.

https://oig.justice.gov/reports/2020/20-080.pdf

INVESTIGATIVE SUMMARY
Findings of Reasonable Grounds to Believe that an FBI Analyst Suffered Reprisal as a Result of Protected Disclosures in Violation of FBI Whistleblower Regulations
The OIG investigated allegations from a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) analyst that the analyst was retaliated against for making protected disclosures under the FBI Whistleblower Regulations about non‐compliance with various FBI policies.
We found that the analyst made at least one protected disclosure and that several personnel actions were taken against the analyst after the analyst made the protected disclosure, including two non‐selections. We found that, with respect to one non‐selection, the analyst’s current and former supervisors undercut the competitiveness of the analyst’s application by failing to provide the analyst recommendations, which resulted in the analyst being excluded from consideration. We also found that, with respect to another non‐selection, the analyst’s supervisors undermined the analyst’s eligibility to compete for a position the analyst intended to apply for by deferring its posting until after having selected the analyst for a different position, thereby making the analyst ineligible for the original position once it was available for competition.
The OIG did not find clear and convincing evidence that these two non‐selections would have been made in the absence of the analyst’s protected disclosure. Accordingly, we found reasonable grounds to believe that the analyst suffered reprisals as a result of the analyst’s protected disclosure.
Under the FBI Whistleblower Regulations, the OIG’s finding is not a final determination. The responsibility for making a final adjudication of the reprisal claim lies with the Office of Attorney Recruitment and Management (OARM), which may order corrective action as a remedy for the whistleblower. OARM may refer findings that particular officials engaged in retaliation to the FBI for consideration of whether discipline is warranted. The OIG provided its report of investigation to OARM.

Mask mandates are coming to more states. They were controversial in 1918, too.
The controversy over government mask mandates and how to enforce them was a huge issue more than a century ago, when the 1918 influenza pandemic killed 675,000 people in the United States and caused an estimated 50 million deaths worldwide, the Power Up newsletter reports. Those who did not comply with mask rules faced fines, public shaming or even prison.

Fines then, as now, could be steep: Penalties for mask violations in San Francisco ranged from $5 to $100 — which in today’s dollars is about $85 to more than $1,700. In West Palm Beach, Fla., violations of an ordinance that closed all public meetings and gatherings of any kind until the flu had passed carried a penalty of a “$100 fine or 30 days in jail. In 1918, $100 carried the purchasing power of $1,762 today,” according to the Palm Beach Post.

Not dissimilar to today’s culture war, the “mask slackers” in 1918 viewed mandates as a threat to personal freedom: “A week ago, I laughed at the idea of the mask,” local Red Cross Chairman John A. Britton told a reporter from the San Francisco Chronicle at the time. “I wanted to be independent. I did not realize that the cost of such independence was the lives of others.” And viewing masks as a sign of weakness — as President Trump previously suggested — also appears to be a timeless attitude in particular among men, who in 1918 also needed more convincing than women to wear masks.
