One might ask why exactly, in a world of Vlogs and easy video production, the fascistic right-wing has essentially reverted to 1930s era tactics of scheduled radio broadcasts to get their message out. It likely has to do with a desire for anonymity on the parts of both the producers and the listeners

They still make videos. Most of them were making videos long before the podcasts started being made. They even have poorly sung racist parodies of popular songs. Some people just prefer audio and it generally requires less editing work. They have every form of media that a under-30 racist would want to consume because they are nearly all under-30 racists and know what they like.

the fascistic right-wing has essentially reverted to 1930s era tactics of scheduled radio broadcasts to get their message out

lol what the actual fuck

You're not going back to 1930's style broadcasts when you're using media formats that have only existed for the last 10 years. It's not even that hard to get on the podcast, the comparison makes no sense.

Though these people have little money, institutional support, credibility or recognition, it’s clear that they have both a growing number of covert participants and a lot of time on their hands.

The entire thing is designed to be organic, it's not supposed to have any of those things. It would lose part of it's rebellious appeal if it did have them. These movements are built from the ground up to survive without credibility.

See a young white man on the subway with downcast eyes and headphones in his ears? He could well be listening approvingly to a podcast on the anti-Semitic pogroms of Imperial Russia

Ehhhh.... depends on your definition of white. :bigsmile

Oh btw AD:

How well are their recruitment programs to attract young women going?

Does Daily Shoah fit into the alt-right given how many of them are furious at Roosh and RamZPaul and reject the label entirely, preferring the term fascist?

A lot of the points I've been trying to make for years have essentially been proving themselves, over and over and over and over, in my news feed throughout 2016 so far. Not sure what to make of that, but I promise it won't be another "Fake It Until You Make It" passive / sympathetic magick manifesto. This shit requires serious work.

Anyways, witness the implosion and tell me if anything in these seventeen (17) pages has mattered much: ... l-behavior

The Alt Right Is Worse Than Feminism In Attempting To Control Male Sexual Behavior

Coined by NPI director Richard Spencer, the alt right is a nationalist internet movement that helped popularize the term “cuckservative” when describing liberals disguised as establishment conservatives. For a flash of 2015, they offered new ideas that could serve as a counterweight to liberalism and social justice, but unfortunately a large section of it has degenerated into a collection of fearful beta males who are obsessed with controlling the sexual choices of all men and who they’re allowed to associate with. Even worse, they’ve recently joined hands with feminists and men’s rights activists in attacking heterosexual men by participating in bogus “rape culture” hysteria.

What went wrong?
The 1488 mob of the alt right, consisting of white purity enthusiasts who assemble on Twitter and 4Chan, has gone from being a fringe portion of the alt right to the dominant, most numerous, and most vocal force that examines the blood purity of alt right members and that of their girlfriends and associates (I’ve even seen members demand genetic test results to prove percentage of whiteness). Starting in December of 2015, this mob began attempting to purge moderates from the alt right who dared to follow non-white people on Twitter, or who took a vacation to an Asian country to flirt with non-white women. They also came after me, sending hundreds of angry tweets for the main reason that I’m not white but am seen as attractive and masculine by white women.

I recently shot the shit with another copywriter friend I seldom see in my luxurious, radiant heated tile floor living room, and we were riffing on some in-jokes that Roosh has since lived out:

The alt right is not serving the needs of men who don’t want their behavior controlled
I can state right now that I didn’t fight feminism for the past ten years so that I can aid a movement that is their mirror image. I didn’t write a dozen books and hundreds of articles preaching on the sanctity of masculinity to help a movement that attempts to redefine consensual sex along the dystopian standard of the left while crushing the choices that men want to make, especially since race is not even close to being a defining factor for men looking for a suitable partner.

Once our analysis is so degraded -- or, perhaps, refined -- that we cannot keep such basic labels straight, one wonders how much longer this kind of intellectual movement can continue to be taken so seriously, by so many millions of people.

Anyways, closing wisdom, or something, by a dude who will be beaten brutally on video very shortly:

The alt right is becoming so authoritarian that a man may actually be happier as a male feminist and sleeping with blue haired freaks with Skrillex haircuts than having all his sexual and friendship choice subject to approval by the alt right mob. When I saw this mob denouncing the girlfriends of their own allies with a variety of derogatory names, including “mud,” I knew the movement had successfully been subverted and was on its way to becoming just another feeble corner of the internet whose adherents will remain anonymous, marginal, and bitter without ever accumulating institutional or state power.

First, let us pause to consider if that atomizing, otaku strategy is not the entire aim of the Internet itself: to ally us only with those we agree with so much, we cannot ever amount to much.

Second, let us appreciate the beauty of a flailing egotist turning on those who provided him momentry shelter. A lot of western movies have been built on this framework of good people making bad decisions. "Once Upon A Time In America" is basically the same arc.

Third, maybe any arrangement of the partisan components of an "Alternative Right" isn't coherent enough, or cohesive enough, to amount to a threat. Or, amount to a noun. Even that.

This division has existed for several years, it's part of what tore Matt Forney's old joint In Mala Fide apart. Anyone who is not a "cultural libertarian" would find Roosh to be fairly fucking degenerate. "Let's go to developing countries, get women as drunk as fast as possible then spend hours nagging them for sex until they give in!"

It's not just that he's Persian, he's a straight up pervert.

The 1488 mob of the alt right, consisting of white purity enthusiasts who assemble on Twitter and 4Chan, has gone from being a fringe portion of the alt right to the dominant, most numerous, and most vocal force

This mob is the under-30 demographic, same as from the Daily Shoah. They were "disowned" from NRx, and went on to troll it into obscurity and even make a few figures switch to white etho-nationalism. They also coined Cuckservative and several other memes that have shifted the discourse further right.

They're supposed to be fringe. They will always be fringe because they will always move further right. The functional purpose of these people is to move the overton window further right.

Before the alt-right was the alt-right it was the manosphere, which sounds like a gay club in Amsterdam. The manosphere hopped on Spencer's tag and rebranded themselves. Spencer himself was just hopping on infrastructure other people had built up.

If there's one thing the "alt-right" needs, it's a long and brutal civil war and a series of purges.

From another related post from the sleepyheads at 'antifascistnews' The ones who claim Spengler is a fascist writer, and other dubious claims if one were to actually examine them instead of simply pasting them:

....For anti-fascists, this presents an incredible challenge, which means effectively targeting their outlets when possible while continuing to shine a light on the way that they code their messages. An example of this is their use of iTunes is almost monolithic, and Soundcloud has already proved that it is not going to accept open racialist content. What anti-fascists and anti-racists cannot do is continue to ignore this faction of the racist community, assuming that they are only an irrelevant fringe. Instead, their growth signals a real shift in the thinking, and it is going to be critical to grow anti-racist work, confront their organizing directly, and to develop strategies that go far beyond liberal anti-racists narratives so that the very structures of racial inequality can be dismantled. “No Platform” is critical in this context, and now we are heading to the digital world of confrontation as well as meeting them in the streets.

Hate Now Streaming...

Where have these idiots been hiding these last few years? This is hardly news even though it's not incorrect.
One would think they may be possibly thinking about maybe getting their act together, talking of (shock horror) digital confrontation, but then an old friend of theirs makes an appearance.... 'No Platform'

This familiar phrase will no doubt get trotted out when discussions/confrontations start to get a bit heated and it is realised that opponents may have their shit together, and the whole thing will grind to a halt as usual while the brave antifascists retreat to their comfort zone.
Still, at least they are glancing in the right direction now, if only briefly and wearing suitably dark goggles.

That guy that has a sonic youth shirt on. Does he even lift?

Thursten: Don’t worry, mate, we’re all on the same side now. Even the Ruskies are up for it, and Germany has the chance to be on the winning side for a change.

Kim: “Sure, we’re all going into world war three together.”

“Yeah, man, time to kick some towelhead ass. Fear of a towelhead planet, that’s what it’s all about,” guffaws Thurston, before abandoning his mock-tabloid tirade: “No, I kinda like the Arabs, myself.”

The Goat-Blood Drinking Senate Candidate and the PEGIDA UK Leader Who Was Too Much Even For UKIP

Sometimes we learn about some particularly odd characters when receiving information from our readers:

Meet Augustus Sol Invictus, a Libertarian candidate for the senate seat being vacated by Marco Rubio.

Aside from changing his name to a Latin phrase which is loosely translated as "Majestic Invincible Sun" and, thus, indicating that he has an ego that Donald Trump might envy, Augie here is an interesting cat for other reasons:

Meet Augustus Invictus, the Florida Libertarian Who Loves Paganism, Civil War, and Goat Sacrifice

A few relevant points:

There are a few reasons why Wyllie finds Invictus such a distasteful character. "Mr. Invictus has repeatedly vowed that it is his destiny to start a second civil war in America," Wyllie wrote in a Facebook post announcing his resignation. He continued, "He has described himself as an American Fascist... He has expressed support for a eugenics program... Many of his supporters are known members of Neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups."

A good meme-starter there, certainly something that can be built upon.

Assuming perfect symmetries is sometimes not a fruitful path, even though it's appealing (some things don't have opposites), but it makes for a good thought experiment.

That's hilarious. I can't even possibly wrap my head around what that would look like or how it would differ from existing social structures.

As advertised on Antifascist news, I gave Red Ice's interview of The Daily Shoah guys a listen and wasn't impressed, they didn’t seem to have much to say ideologically speaking. They claim to come out of Libertarianism, an identity which is barely used in the UK, seeming a bit new to White Nationalism and still finding their feet
As it's Red Ice though, I wondered why Helmut is bothering with these Yahoos (possibly they are more interesting on their home ground), as his intellectual content in the past has been pretty good. It's like he has a quota to fill ie quantity over quality.

Antifascistnews also linked to the Radix podcasts, and these seem to be markedly different and worth giving some attention to. I first listened to the RamZPaul one from before Christmas and don't know how representative that was but found it both entertaining and thought provoking. They do poke a good bit of fun at those who carelessly classify them with Nazi types.
