Research Skills

Postby FranklinCase Admin » Mon Sep 25, 2006 1:51 am

I noticed on the recent Johnny Gosch thread that a variety of great resources were being implemented to extract important information. Additionally, various other threads have included links to extremely important resources which I was never aware of. I thought a thread may be in hand to basically post resources we (RI board members) use to collect information, so that collectively we can grow in our research skills. I'll start by posting a few of my favorite spots:

www.rightweb.irc-online.org/ (A collection of biographies about Individuals, Organizations, Corporate, and Government entities that make up the elite PTB)
www.rotten.com/library /(The name explains it all, a collection of people and things that are rotten)
www.namebase.org/(A great place to link little known names to the top dogs)
www.bugmenot.com/(Hate username and passwords at news websites, try this out to get names and passwords, granted they only work about half the time, but hey it's better than paying those corporate bastards)

Edited by: FranklinCase Admin at: 9/24/06 11:53 pm

Something I like to do is check out what is on the foreign language versions of wikipedia articles. For instance, the P2 page italiano seems to provide more information than the English language version. 'Seems to' because Babelfish raped the original to a large extent and I don't read Italian. Example:

Quote:
As consequence of the voting of the previous year will be had strong contrasts between Gelli and Salvini and the first one in March 1975, in occasion of an assembly, produced to tests (some journalistic reconstructions second is made created purposely) on presumed financial crimes completed from the great master, withdrawing subsequently the accusations; as a result of this and with the mediation of 12 Gamberini May 1975 came reconstituted a Loggia P2, officially “covered” and with little tens of it does not affiliate to you you notice upon request that but they will not have to turn out between the enrolled one of the GOI, with Gelli like Master Venerabile and that will come melted, of the same one, little more than a year after, the 26 July 1976, also for the pressure of the average of left and the magistracy where (also thanks to made information to leak from the group of the “massoni democratics” who opposed itself inside to Gelli of the GOI) in the years had become more and more frequent campaigns print and surveyings that accused loggia and the masonry of being tied to criminal events, which the person seizures, and of having relationships with skillful extreme atmospheres legacies to the black eversione.

I don't know what, but something melted, and you don't get that information in the English version. More useful information is something like a (complete?) list of members of P2.

This 'technique' is probably usually only helpful if what you are looking for happens to be a foreign event/person/whatever. But then, the only article for Daniel Hopsicker is in German.

Edited by: jingofever at: 9/25/06 1:59 am
