This seems a good place to draw the chain into a circle and lock it. So, mods/Jeff, please lock this thread after this post. Edit: Ok, after friend Barracuda's post.

This thread was prompted because I kept running into chains everywhere. They wouldn't leave me alone.

I'm sensitive to these things. I mean chains are all around us all the time, literally and figuratively, but once something starts crowding into your mental space like that and clamoring for attention, if you are like me you start paying attention.

So, thanks to all you wonderful fools for participating in this Chain of Fools.
