We talked about -- well, I brought it up -- starting a private investigation firm concerning my lady's wolves who roam town and solve crimes. We got drunk. We ate really good Thai food. We talked about the importance of RI in our lives. We expounded upon the brilliance of one Jeff Wells and how his writing and approach really helped to contribute to our lives and how we look at them and others. The LaSarcs spent the night in my VW.
But, we both agree that RI is certainly an oasis, a fuckin' cool place, as I tend to put things. We had lots and lots and lots of laughs. We talked about various members and what we think makes them tick and why there is no one here that we can hate. This place is awesome and I just want Jeff to know that I really appreciate all he has done. He has helped me and my squaw to make a couple new friends, who frankly, just nearly even, sight unseen, they seem like good friends for life.
Hats off to all the good people around here. And that means ALL of you!!!!
Good job to everybody and thank you for being a part of something that allowed four disparate people to forge new friendships last night.
