Hmmm, I'll go full circle and have another Belgian please. Whatever you have, even if it's sour.

I'll have a Manhattan, please, up.

I've never really understood bragging about how much marijuana one can smoke. It occurs to me everytime I hear it that the real bragging rights belong to those of us for whom a single hit is enough to take us where we want to be, and beyond. I imagine, of course, that the ultimate would be to achieve the same effect without smoking the pot at all. Maybe just a sniff o' the bud, or even merely looking hard at it might do, and off you go.

Alcohol is another matter entirely. Being possessed of the ability to hold my liquor past the abilities of my tablemates has saved my life more than once, once or twice, several times, a few years back in the day.

Pfft, barracuda. Pfft. You simply dont know what you are talking about.
;)
To me, bragging about how much alcohol you can take is pretty passé. Nobody can beat us finns at that, except the russians.

But I'm not bragging, Penguin. I'm just grateful I grew up around Kentucky bourbon. Anyway, practise make perfect, unfortunately. It's not like it's some big talent.

'Nother one, ma'm, thanks.

It's almost like watching someone swim underwater, holding their breath, for a shockingly long time. "How do they DO that?"

In my wife's case, I think she envies my extreme light-weightedness when it comes to weed. It's certainly a hell of a lot less expensive when you're a lightweight. I wish to god she was a lightweight for that reason.

Why does the shit cost so damn much? It costs more than silver, a lot more than silver. And it's a plant.

My wife actually needs it medicinally. Which doesn't make it any cheaper. I just wish insurance would pay for it. Maybe some day.

its pretty cheap here. i can get it for about the cost of cigarettes.

and i am an alcoholic, so its best not to test my boundaries so far as that goes. i started drinking when i was 12. i try to limit myself to a couple pints of liquor a day now.

...

i'd love to smoke wit ur wife Nord. i've really never met anyone who could smoke wit me before. i always run out first.

Is it too early to start drinking? Jeez, not even 9 o'clock yet. Today is shaping up to be a very long, slow day at work.

A nice, strong Irish coffee sounds lovely right now...

oh, a spiked coffee is nice every now & then. I used to be able to get this lovely raspberry chocolate cream liqeur & dammit, I've not been able to find it anywhere for a few years now. That's a lovely addition in coffee.

And as for the weed, I never get a whole bunch, as it lasts me so long. Not only am I a "cheap drunk" when it comes to the cannabis, but if I smoked it on a regular basis, I'd be raiding my fridge all the time.

this is probably the reason for OP ED's 3000 calorie diet.
