^ Reverb Jam (take 1) | Introductory notes in the video: The National Physical Laboratory has a room with one of the longest reverberation times in Europe. On 8 December 2006, Spacedog, Sarah Angliss, and friends were allowed inside with their musical instruments.

The reverberation length is so long (approximately 45 seconds) inside the 186-foot diameter cistern at Fort Worden, about 70 miles northwest of Seattle,
that the composer describes the feeling as "this is where you have been forever and will always be forever".
This engaging CD contains seven selections with Dempster playing solo on conch shell, didjeridu, and trombone,
and in ensemble with nine other trombonists, two conch players and one on Tibetan cymbals.

Thank You, Mask! Hamelin is always a fun listen! And, I didn’t skip the other Hamelin you posted here.

After listening to Harry Partch’s “Dunes”, I watched a short on his life. He was a wizard to have produced all those instruments and scale and pitch distinctions. Thanks, Mask :).

IanEye, sometimes I enjoy playing videos simultaneously, and I tried that with your silver boxes. Well, that exercise didn’t get me anywhere. The subtleties were too subtle for me, so I listened to each vid individually, and now I’m in love with those multi layered rhythms—they are fascinators!

And, now I’m a Mike Coles fan. Thanks, KUAN.

To all the posters I have to tell you that seldom do I skip the music vids you’ve posted. Drew already knows that (and I guffawed at the hilarious female singer)! Sometimes I fast track through a pop vid by playing half-a-dozen excerpts once I’ve gotten the gist of how the singers sing and the lyrics, or the instrumentation and the arrangement, however, when I don’t understand the lyrics, I rarely take time to look them up anymore—I let go that titanic task several months ago. Yeah, it was at RI that I even began thinking about studying the music of and enjoying to a certain extent pop and rock. Much forever appreciation to the posters in this music thread and in the dance thread, too!

Edit: removed the redundancy in the Nocturne title.
I was pretty tired when I posted.
