some areas need all the cheering up they can get. tower hams isn't a beauty spot.

I do like grafitti, even if it's just some kid's tag the least it does is highlight empty space. At best it's subversive, sometimes it can give an instant impression of the other side of town, and sometimes it is raw communication, necessarily anonymous.

I wonder if Tower Hamlets are doing themselves a disservice by erasing tourist attractions or deliberately driving up the price of Banksys.
