Daydreams and Pretty Pictures

Postby sunny » Sat Apr 26, 2008 7:17 am

A total time waster of a thread. Post pretty pictures of pretty things or people that distract you, pictures you're embarrassed to admit you sit and stare at, distracted, day dreaming, wasting time, awwwing.

Keep it shallow, please.

My favorite is when a chick comes into the shop wanting...any of these fairy designs, they all want em about 2 inches high on their foot or some crap spot like that. Non of them understand the huge amount of detail means the smallest application of the art would be 6 to 8 inches high.

I've done that one a few times; I still have the line art for it.

That glitter stuff is teh ghey.

I really liked your image you posted in the 'images thread' with the elegant statue/bloody guy at the bottom.

Good stuff. Remind me to show you some of my photos I took in San Jaun, Puerto Rico one day.

Isn't it just beautiful? It signifies something to me, something powerful and disturbing about who we are...

That glitter stuff is teh ghey.

heehee, I know, but I can't help looking at them and thinking of the twinkling, glittery fantasy of Fairies flitting around like fireflies...I want to believe!

Beautiful photo! You're good.

Here's one of my very favorites:

Image

The deep black in this statue is a dark lichenous growth that accentuated every recessed curve in the piece perfectly.

That place is amazing. I want to return so badly and get an updated collection that documents the structural decay/lichen growth on the statues, but I'll probably never be able to afford to go back at this point.

^^et, that statue is incredibly beautiful. Do you mind if I save it and print it out?

Oh, and I want this one on the back of my neck and 1 inch high:

If not that one, then this one: (you can make this one 2 inches)

Check out the Miscellaneous Fusion Gallery under "Nakagawa Samples"

Mark Roseboom is my favorite in the Customer Sample Gallery.
"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.
