On Tuesday the Democratic Alliance, until now the main SA opposition party, laid criminal charges against ANC (ruling) under the Electoral Act, which "prohibits persons from 'impersonating' other parties and or candidates and prohibits the distribution of false information". Ms Jaenette Mahlangu, an ANC candidate in a coming by-election, had distributed the pamphlet below to learners at the Middelburg Mine Combined School on Friday last week.
