In my opinion, it lowers the credibility of RI when posters start the thread titles with the word Fuck as in Fuck Obama and Fuck Biden.

I am not opposed to rage, anger or the truth of the statement....just saying in my opinion, it lowers credibility of the entire board.

Maybe, but who are we trying to impress?

Simply by holding any discussion anonymously on the internoots, your credibility factor skyrockets by sheer factors of awesomeness anyway. If you further increase your credibility even more by withholding the potential use of the "f" word, you may then reach an integrity threshold which no one could believe, known as the ultra-level of "incredible credibility".

So you have to watch out for that.

I guess that one's all about me. Personal turn off. I never cared if the thread itself was littered with that word, but being in the thread title bothered me.

I guess I'm hyper aware now as to being a credible vehicle so I watch for whatever I wonder might lower the credibility.

So, I figured out one reason why it bugs me to title a thread with Fuck something.

I was a very angry child and adult. Every second word out of my mouth was fuck this or fuck that.

Then, I had my daughter. As she got older, when she was really upset about something, she used descriptive words. I realized I sounded like an idiot compared to her. Kids would say really mean stuff to her growing up and she would nail them with some comment that was dead on and intelligent. I learned verbal battle was an art. She knew how to do it and I did not.
