My throat is fucking killing me...

sympathy, please.

(maybe it is a false memory of my throat hurting?)

Green tea, with honey and lemon, and a dash of whiskey. >.> And sympathy!

Lots of sore throats here. Though so far seems to be a morning thing.

Trying to remember to take my Vitamin D.

Awe, poor thing!

Woke up with a sore throat myself yesterday & took a large dose of Oil of Oregano. That stuff works like a charm for me. Try that, too. Even if it's a bad cold, I find taking that stuff cuts sick time in half.

And you know what kind of soup does it for me too? That Vietnamese Pho soup. My sister in law makes it from scratch & it's to die for. Any local Vietnamese cafe usually caries it & it isn't too expensive.

Sorry you're still feeling crummy, lbo.

Drink plenty of fluids, get lots of rest, tylenol and ice cream for throat pain, take a warm bath, monitor your temperature (go to an urgent care if it's over 104 or 105).

Be thankful for what you haven't got, lbo.

At least you haven't spent an entire 24 hour period of the last week either hurling up, or sitting on the loo, or both, or in nauseous, fitful preperation to do either, or both. At least you haven't had to do that.

I'm thankful I haven't got a sore throat. Hope your's is brief!

Count me in! I'm sick! Had to do a job out in the desert. Had to leave the house at 3:30 in the morning in order to get there well before dark so we could get started. It was 23 degrees, and I usually don't go out below the upper 40's. The desert here can be awfully dirty and wind-blasted as well, especially downwind of the two towns out there, Palmdale and Lancaster, which is where we were. Then there's Edwards Air Force Base generally upwind and god only knows what kinds of toxic crap is there. Every time I go out there I find myself physically disliking it. Although it can be beautiful, the stars, the sunrise, the sunset, the rocks ....

But I came down with something nasty. Horrible sore throat the next day, thought I was getting strep. Fortunately that died down fairly rapidly but now I've got an overall malaise, can't hardly move, hope it isn't mono. A couple of hours ago I got a terrible chill, even though it's probably 70 degrees here now, and I just had to crawl back into bed.

Does pain count? Because if it does, then there isn't a spot on my body, today, that isn't crying out, including my right arm, which feels as if someone twisted it 360 degrees and then tried to pull it out.

Care to explain? Were you hit by a bus? Attacked by a giant squid?

Turns out I had bronchitis. It was gnarly but then I managed to read the half of this entire site that I had never read before, watch about ten movies and most of project camelot's terrible videos.

If you smoke, please quit. I did 3 days ago, though I'm chewing nico gum.
