Let's remember Jeff this Xmas

Postby semper occultus » Sat Dec 05, 2009 4:18 pm

I think I speak for most users of this site from posting-junkie to lurker that we couldn't really imagine our lives if we couldn't log on & drop in to Rigorous Intuition on an almost daily basis.

I reproduce below my pm to Jeff concerning the two ways we can best support this unique forum & as I know he has not the slightest intention of ever shaking the begging bowl on his own behalf & will still procrastinate about doing anything to defray the costs he is bearing on all our behalves I shall do it for him.
So if you really love someone why not prove it with a rigorous intuition fridge magnet ?
For the uninitiated I am referring to the link to the shop on the blog front page.
And why not drop a few coppers in the collection-bucket on the way out ?

oh and Jeff - get that bloody button fixed !

Your donate button seems to be malfunctioning...AGAIN & with Xmas looming shouldn't you be plugging the RI shop ? I could do with a new mouse mat.
Jeff , Jeff - there isn't a capitalist bone in your body is there !?

best wishes

It's half and half: moral resistance to entrepeneurship and slovenly incompetence!

I do mean to get that fixed. Thanks for the gentle push in the right direction.

cheers,

Thanks, semper occultus!

One thing, though. I don't want anyone to think they're doing me favours by buying from the RI shop. I set it up as a favour to RIers, with zero profit margin.

But yeah, I need a remedial pottery class for my begging bowl.

Fix your Amazon wish list, too... I'm not sure exactly what's wrong, but I didn't have the option to ship to you when I tried it... I think maybe you have to make your address public, or something along those lines.

zero profit margin on the shop eh ? I guess that proves my point !
I still like that mouse mat though.

anyway profit is what you get after you cover all your costs - I doubt you are doing that & as - regretably - you aren't really actively blogging these days this site's only really going to provide us itinerant board users with somewhere warm to go to .

This is Socialest! Imma let you finish, but then I'll be off back to PrisonPlanet, where the adverts make me feel safe, and needed, and desired.
