Philly meet up?

So Luther and I were talking about having a Philly meetup, perhaps for libations at some samll hole in the wall. As it is summer (shore) season, we were thinking perhaps a Thurday evening in a few weeks.

Anyone interested? NY/NJ peeps and anyone else are welcome also. I think we're both flexible with times and dates.

I like dive bars, but I'm open to anything.

My only question is, how will we recognize each other? Foil hats? "My other car is a UFO" bumper stickers?

I think picking a small place and putting up a little "RI" folded card on the table like they did in Seattle would work.
First sign of a spook and we just bolt for the door.
Any place in the city is fine with me if anyone has a suggestion.

I'm jealous... I've wanted to have an Austin, Tejas meetup but ... well, at least one of my fellow locals here on the board and I got into a kind of shitty exchange in emails / PMs.

Yeah it was great, we really covered a lot of ground. I'll go start a thread on the general forum.

Investigating the False Memory Institute would be a good side project. What was the name of that possibly dubious org that American Dream mentioned? It could use some RI.

The therapy group that I have heard might have been "dirty" is Genesis Associates, of Exton PA.. Genesis got sued for nurturing false memories of suppressed trauma (including ritual abuse), alienating vulnerable clients from their loved ones, that kind of thing. Two therapists- Patricia Mansmann and Patricia Neuhausel lost their licenses over this some 15 years ago or so.

The allegation that this may have been a deliberate attempt to cover for mind control perpetrators by discrediting the whole field.

Anyway, not everybody in this world has their eyes open but R.I. attracts a lot of people who do. Always great to meet good people, so if Toronto 2011 really does happen as a R.I. meetup, that will be great!
