Hello RI!
"new" member here, although I've been lurking forever (i think the first board, yikes).
My balls have finally poked out of my abdominal cavity far enough for me to post. Why so long you ask? well, a few reasons. I lean toward paranoia and felt when I hit the post button a giant insect like creature would come take me away to the underground base where Cheney has his S&M dungeon. Also, with some of the writing chops on display here, I felt like Justin Bieber in a guitar off with Edward Van Halen. Or because I'm recently unemployed and now have the time, take your pick.
ANYWAY, once the board went down in September I realized "what if this was gone and I actually never made contact with these amazing people!" so here I am. I really enjoy RI and hope to contribute as much as I can.

Hi gerg, I'm glad you joined us.
And please alert the mods to the arrival of any giant insect-like entities. The board is sometimes buggy.

Welcome, greg. I was the same way and lurked a long time too. Then I thought, if somebody's not gonna post exactly what I'm thinking, then it may as well be me.
(and yes I know it's gerg and not greg. It just sounded funny in the head to call you that)

that could be changed. Should we have a vote on changing the "they live"-esq SUBMIT button to say POST instead? (Post, or Send, or "cork and toss bottle", or whatever else?)

Well, since RI is just one big "circle jerk" why not make it "seagull"?
