I think this might be Kory's best look, although she should probably never wear that color if her hair is the same color.
Her make-up is
way better in that one, overall, although they're still doing it too much by-the-book and not enough by-the-Kory. But she should definitely always wear a nice, warm lipstick that's two shades darker than natural color in a subtle sort of a way when on camera. Her mouth probably looks lovely in person, but her upper lip photographs thin.
Also, I'd like to see her try wearing blouses with soft collars and/or rounded necklines when she has her hair up, if she's comfortable in them. And if she's getting her eyebrows shaped (which I think she must be in view of their shape), she should stop lining them up with the inner corners of her eyes and start lining them up
just a skosh outside the bridge of her nose.
Because you're right. She is perky. But you can sort of see that there's a piquant little touch of devilry in there, especially when she arches her (presumed to be poor, brutalized) eyebrow. Basically, she's got a really cute naturally-pointy-like-Kim-Novak-in-
Bed-Book-and-Candle thing going on there. Shame to just let it go to waste. And she can wear any color but green, afaic. If they change the lighting, I may reconsider. But as things stand, green is just totally out of the question.
Emily needs to part her hair on the other side. Somehow it just doesn't look right parted on the right.
I think the main problem is just that she's uncomfortable. So nothing looks quite right.
But entirely apart from that, she absolutely, non-negotiably has just got to lose those glasses. Or at the very least, those frames. Because they're just destroying her, and she's really very pretty. Not that you can see it. But she is. In a more regularly pretty way than Kory is, even. Perfect oval face, lovely browbone and chin, long neck, nice full mouth and (from what little can be safely inferred) pretty, nicely spaced almond-shaped eyes.
I mean, I don't find any of them hot, personally speaking. But look:

Try imagining that expression on her face in another context, for another reason (
without the glasses), and I think you'll see what I mean. She's got it going on, potentially. It's just hidden.
And that kind of makes me want justice for Emily. So I say: Contacts, lip gloss, a little brow-liner, no turtlenecks until she's more relaxed and animated on camera, and lots of muted dusky colors in the rose/brown/mauve range when it comes to wardrobe. Velvets and soft wools when possible.
Plus, it goes without saying that both of them should be wearing eyeliner, too, for the love of all that's holy. Because they're on TV, that's why. I mean, what part of that is Merriam-Webster failing to grasp?
I'm skipping Pete, but I mean no offense to him or anything like that. It's just easier to style women.
