Mundane astrology is the astrology of history and world events, this from my most main man in that world, Michael Lutin, sorry about line breaks, but pretty goddamn interesting:
MONDAY 27 JUNE
The reason we are making such a big deal out of the Pluto in Capricorn transit is because the last time Pluto occupied this spot more than two hundred years ago, that celestial body had not yet been discovered and had therefore not yet entered conscious human experience.
its ingress into Capricorn, however, coincided with both the French and American Revolutions, changing the course of world history forever.
Now it's happening again, this time with even greater consequences. The world has actually become one globally financially interdependent nation
with profound effects one country has upon another for survival.
The games have higher stakes.
Right now this week for example,
you will see the dynamics
for domination rise again.
The motives are often hidden,
disguised as righteous indignation
as a justification for aggression,
but don't blame the leaders.
People allow their leaders to act out
all their own unconscious wishes, instincts and drives,
then complain and rebel,
as if they have nothing to do with
choosing or allowing dominant
individuals to seize power.
Underneath it all lies the desire
to remain in control.
Pluto in Capricorn is the obsession with maintaining order.
On the one hand order permits society to develop in a stable way.
On the other it can be the rise of fascism.
The current planetary configuration of
Saturn in Libra, Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn
describes the high stakes and potentially dangerous
manipulation taking place
on every political level
from situation at the IMF
to taxes on your groceries
to the increase in dues of your local book club.
Liberals and conservatives
are forced to play ball,
negotiate
and compromise,
which angers the more rabid and radical
members of each side.
Unless you are willing to get directly involved,
shut up and watch it on TV.
Remember this:
Pluto in Capricorn is the obsession with maintaining order.
On the one hand order permits society to develop in a stable way.
On the other it can be the rise of fascism.
