To my sisters - just because you weren't given the chance to make your point before the police stepped in and shut you up doesn't mean you aren't heroic.

This one video is perhaps the best I have seen of the brutality inflicted by the NYPD (other than the infamous pepper spray incident by Officer Bologna), both to women and men. It is shot by a very brave woman who puts herself on the line to video everything that is happening around her. Despite seeing incredible brutality to a defenseless woman who was dragged out in the street to be arrested, she has the courage and presence of mind to speak her mind to the NYPD throughout filming, despite very well what the consequences of doing so could be.

Conversation got heavy, she had me feelin' like she's ready to blow!
(Watch Out! Oh! Watch Out!)
She's saying "Come get me! Come get me",
So I got up and followed her to the floor, she said "Baby, let's go",
That's when I told her I said ......

we want a lady in the street but a freak in the bed to say

In situations like these it does become clear that there are a significant number of men who seize opportunities to attack women when they have little or no fear of retribution. Some thought has to be given to this.
