Artists installed seesaws at the border wall so that kids in the U.S. and Mexico could play together. It was designed by architect Ronald Rael.
Beautiful reminder that we are connected: what happens on one side impacts the other.

Thanks, I like Alex Grey too, but his story is a complete revelation to me, undeniably clear signal reaching back to 1989. Cheers Slad.

I want to add this video... one of my favorite artistic music groups combined with a bit of Alex Grey
Cheryl was first and only true love. She's been with Richie Martucci since we parted company as teens and they've become quite well known for their work. I only learned years after first seeing the snaky Al Sharptongue portrait that it was her work, which kinda blew me away.
Very much enjoying all the work (and the accompanying stories) so far. Many thanks!
I won an art competition this evening with this painting. I can afford new shoes. I was getting a bit worried that the sole would fall off entirely before I could get to that point, which has happened in the past. Phew!
And some of the other studies in this series.
This latest iteration is a work in progress, making it up as I go along. It's come on a bit since this photo from a few weeks ago.
And this one is a recent commission. I was asked to recreate how the Crosby Garret Helmet might have looked in it's day...
