How do you add an avatar?

In the User Control Panel, go to "Profile" on the left hand vertical menu, then select "Edit avatar". Then simply upload an image using one of the options there, submit it, and see if you like it.

I think they can only be 140x140 pixels, too. So make sure to shrink them a bit if they are more than that. I know there are avatar creating sites where you can upload your pic & shrink it down. Try this:
