What exactly is the Firepit? I can't figure out under what circumstances it's appropriate to move a thread there. BUt if there was ever a candidate, this is it.

I can't see any reason for keeping it in GD for everyone to gawk at. But ought we inform seemslikeadream somehow, so that she might repost the OP? Is there an SOP for this SNAFU? Can I force another acronym into this post ASAP?

These and other questions concern this mod wrt these issues, imho.

That was a good reminder that the Fire Pit exists.

Been a long time, but as I recall, the Fire Pit is read-only. So it's a like an archive of threads gone bad. In some cases, begun bad.
